I can make a judgement on the virus decisions and have, some government advise I’ll go with but plenty I wont.

Presume you will support everyone else doing the same ?
Not sure why you would restrict to virus decisions?
I would have thought abiding by Govt decisions was part of respecting the democracy and control we were desperate to get back. Ok I missed the ‘when it suits’ clause.

Over 50s self isolating? Unless they get exemptions, that’s a huge chunk of the cabinet including that fucker Cummings. Never happening. Not even these shits would have the brass balls to try and push that through

Although it is one way for that Billy Bunter cock to avoid getting his arse handed to him every Wednesday

What has democracy to do with me making my own personal decisions on how I interpret the guidance? Tenuous link to Brexit, you not over it yet? 😂

I'm over 50, just clocked up around 100 miles fell walking on holiday in the Lake District, also bagged about 12 of Wainwright's peaks..... and i maybe asked to shield, fuck off!

Yet i see groups of youth/young people all out together, beaches full of families in record numbers apparently, pubs and restaurants open and Eid parties everywhere, and now they are picking on the over 50's.

Its now just becoming a bit stupid, the Government relaxed the lockdown rules and numbers have been going down, which showed the rules were working, yet 19 more infections in Greater Manchester (mostly Oldham) is classed as a spike and a 'MAJOR INCIDENT' WTF!

To much scaremongering going on about a second wave.

I'm happy to work from home, but to not go out and my wife can seems pretty odd.

Ah you’re just bragging you’ve got a younger wife now aren’t you 😀

If folk with pre existing condition want to isolate then that’s fine, I’ll not be isolating full stop.

be reet, you get your own personal health score, so as long as you've been keeping fit and have no underlying conditions, you'll be reet

https://news.sky.com/story/coronavirus-millions-of-over-50s-could-be-told-to-stay-at-home-to-avoid-second-nationwide-lockdown-12040780

A Sunday Times report said people aged between 50 and 70 could be given personalised risk ratings, taking into account factors such as age and medical conditions.

but for the good of the nation and yourself, if you turn out to be risk, then do us all a favour and stay at home

or fuck off to Spain

I can already see what's going to happen..

"All over 50's have to isolate"

"Fuck that, we're not being told what to do"

"OK, scrap that, we'll shut the pubs instead"

"OK, that's better..............Fuck....why aren't the pubs open"

"We wants schools to open, so it's either old fuckers staying in, or pubs shutting, it is what it is, wiff-waff, spitfires, prrpphh"

well, I won't be staying in the house

Presumably, folk who need to go to work would be allowed to

Once I go to school, I can play out

Its always been the rule

It would be totally unenforceable of course  -  but it would only be those who are told they have to stay at home, due to underlying conditions (I'm not sure what that means, but you won't be asked to stay at home just because your fat I wouldn't have thought)

As a very small straw poll in this thread has showed, people will just ignore it and do what they want anyway, and why not, especially when those making the rules happily break them because they feel like it

However,  there's an argument that if individuals had followed the rules in the first place (muzzies or not) we wouldn't be here. I've no intention of following the 'lead' of these cunts.

I didn't have you down as somebody who would use that word

If they make it under 55s are ok I am not affected.......till tomorrow.

The problem with underlying conditions is defining that. So fat fuckers are we included ?

I think the Govt have a difficult job especially as Mounts comments highlight they have lost a lot of credibility in recent weeks. The fact is the vast majority of people who have died could well have in the relative short term so at what point is the greater good in terms of economy more important than a few thousand dead ?

Thinly veiled “can I have a birthday thread tomorrow?”... :)

Lets be honest its getting a bit stupid now, and is to fragmented. You can pick holes in everything, people booked holidays abroad before the the rules changed but its only advice and legally you can still go, but if you go you are a cunt, c'mon surely going to Greece, France or Spain is no worse than going to the pub, the city of Leicester or on a protest march, in fact it's probably safer and they should be commended.

Precisely it’s more about how you behave, social distance, wear masks and cut your contact with others to as few and as short as possible and preferably out doors. Someone going to Cornwall rather than Spain isn’t less likely to catch it but that’s the government advise.

If the government had its way, we wouldn't be going to Cornwall (except MPs and Cummings)

But its a calculated? risk to get the economy moving

We don't give a fuck and nor should we, about the Spanish economy

Mounts will explain why you're wrong presently.

Are going to quarantine yourself for 14 days when you get back? Can you work from home for another 2 weeks?
