Obviously what you gain at one end of day time you’d lose at the other. I think farming hours was the reason we change from GMT to BST and back. I love nothing more than a really cold dark winter night and going for a walk down to the pub for a few pints to warm the soul. Something about coming out the pub into the dark night that I like.
