The sad thing is, £40 is probably all the thieving tvvats will get for it. Cannondales are decent bikes and i can imagine it cost a few quid when it was new. They've obviously little taste as there were hundreds of classic house and trance tunes from the mid to late 90's on vinyl in there too which they chose not to even touch. Or even peruse. You just can't get the burglars these days 😂

Site Supporter Tonge moor green jacket Posted October 2, 2020 Site Supporter Share Posted October 2, 2020 I know he's said he's got insurance; but would this fully fund the cost of a new one? Might be going out on a limb here, but perhaps we could all chip in for a fresh one for Kent? Good folk of WW perhaps repeat previous fund raising efforts, for one of our own this time? Lad's had a right shite year: working his teds off for the nhs during the pandemic and being infected himself, being robbed on several occasions, and recently losing his beloved dog. No doubt he'll say "no, no etc" but what's members opinions?

Site Supporter Steejay Posted October 2, 2020 Site Supporter Share Posted October 2, 2020 Should get full compo from Insurance. I had 3 nicked out of my shed about 5 years ago. Police told me that they knew a gang that had a racket going, nicking bikes & swapping them with another gang from the other side of town. Anyway, about a month later, I got a call from the police saying that they had recovered some bikes and would I like to go and have a look at all of their stolen property. I got my road bike back (Terry Dolan) and another hybrid that looked just like one of my others. So I ended up with 2 out of the 3. The road bike was the only 'named' bike on my policy. Insurance had already paid out for full value of all 3 bikes.
