I've been very supportive and positive so far but after watching every game this season I have absolutely no idea what he is actually trying to do come match day.

It's neither one thing nor the other, players are all over the show and look confused and/or disinterested.

I'm hoping it's just my lack of a UEFA pro badge that means I haven't got a fucking clue because the other alternative is not good for any of us.

Cap doffed to folks still paying to watch away games

We are better away.

I would reverse that and say cap doffed to those paying £50 a month for home games.

Right on both counts.

With my professional head on and none bias, I can see the foundations of what FV are trying to do, and to a degree what is IE is doing, what is evidently clear is the lack of quality in coaching.
Positioning, shape, when to press when not to.
Someone said he’s trying to replicate Pep,which is nonsense he’s not he’s just trying to play the way he wants to.
Having no players, loads of signings, injuries he needs the time to get it right I fully believe he will.

I’m glad I paid our three season tickets in one go. Must feel like a right kick seeing the money come out every month.

Could it be that IE and his assistant are the only ones coaching still? Instead of having a full staff at his disposal? Not trying to make excuses, just looking for logical explanations as to why the wheels have exploded off

We don't have a first team coach as far as I'm aware.

It's Evatt, Atherton, Duckmanton the analyst/goalkeeping coach, and Gilks the player/goalkeeping coach.

I don't know where we're at with fitness and conditioning coaches.

This is as bad a decision as you will see, he has his arms all the way round Saucey and that is a long way

Criminal that he wasn't booked for that.  Baffling.  Cant blame IE for tackling him about it after the game.

And the penalty is just as embarrassing for the ref, what a farce.  2 yellows for Delaney a joke.  Sympathy for IE getting that ref.

I know for a fact they’re light on coaches, maybe it would eat into the overall budget, maybe he wants a small back room team. With the right money you could get coaches overnight.

As manager? I’d like to think I could still do a job in the middle of the park 😁

In an ideal world it would be my dream

I did mean on the coaching side rather than straight to the top!

I’m very lucky to have landed with employers with very deep pockets, and I know money isn’t everything but it is when I have a house and kids to look after , otherwise I’d be there tomorrow

I sat there yesterday and thought it was the worst we had looked all season

Im happy to hear from the 442 crowd how its got better recently

Early on in the season, we played some decent stuff, but had no keeper

It just felt hopeless yesterday

Then something got them going, maybe just a bit of confidence, maybe we are actually a fit team, and i reckon we wouldve won but for that iffy twat in black

But isn't this the issue; he can't play the way he wants to as it leaves us where we are?

Shouldn't he be realising he doesn't have the capabilities in the squad to play how he wants. Someone mentioned we have the second worse defensive record in the div, that is unacceptable.

He should be devising better ways of playing with the train set he has got, and he just so clearly isn't, and that my real beef with him. Even if it means being defensive and hard to beat it would be a start!

The team looks fit, I’d love to know the distance covered stat

I think we 3 at the back with two wingbacks  and a holding midfielder suits us, especially with Tutte fit.
That’s when we looked best and won 5 on the spin

Played the way he wanted and went on a winning run.

Parky made us hard to beat and everyone was rightly complaining about shit football.

It’s about finding the balance but you don’t do that with sacking a manager every 10 months.

Yesterday was so disappointing. It was the first time I’d noticed how soft and unarsed (bar Doyle) they looked at goals going in and decisions against us.

There have been plenty examples this season of the team fighting on. Carlisle, Barrow etc.

The stuff he’s coming out with is also concerning. I really want it to work for him but nothing tells me it will.

Though I’m starting to think the lack of coaches and staff around the place is playing it’s part and if it’s him to continue or someone new we need more.

Not sure about that.

They’d probably cover a lot less distance if they stopped getting caught out of position tbf
