That press conference by Biden was a bit chaotic. Having said that, he at least faced the press. Putin would never do it and Johnson would avoid it. Not sure who is right in these unprecedented circumstances.

Brexit has saved us from having to get involved.

Why should we sit in on meetings involving all the main EU players when we can spend that money on other things?

I haven't blamed anything on Brexit. I've said it's one of many things that has contributed to what looks, to Vladimir Putin, like a weakened Western Europe.

I agree he's ultimately accountable.....

I just think we've made it that little bit more likely be breaking up the union. 

And Trump made a lot more likely by driving a wedge between the US and NATO and questioning its very existence. 

Anyway - whatever the underlying reasons are, it's how we deal with it that matters now I suppose!
