R.I.P Frankie, great memories given to us all

Too young to have seen him play, but you don’t grow up supporting Bolton without knowing about THAT goal. RIP Frankie

Rip - was my dads hero.

promotion would be a fitting tribute.

RIP.

What a player, what a life.

Such sad news, R.I.P. Frankie.

RIP

So Sad,  So very , very sad

My all time favourite Bolton Player

Absolute Legend

And he was a real maverick

Hit me hard this morning.

I lost my Dad on 19th December and Frank was one of my Dad’s hero’s- he was a couple of years younger than FW.

What a player, a maverick and a legend. They don’t make em like Frank any more.

And that goal still blows my mind.

RIP FW

Wow!! RIP to the man who gave me my best night watching BWFC away at OT

Really sad news RIP Frank, an absolute legend.

Such sad news.

He gave us at least three iconic moments in our history.

OT away.

THAT goal.

Best of all, the winner at Ewood.

RIP Frank - true Wanderers legend.

Frank Worthington a real fan's favourite.

What a back story though.

RIP Worthy.

Sad sad day, those of us lucky enough to have watched the magician week in week out will never see a player of his ilk ever again.

We all remember the Ipswich wonder goal, but he was doing that kind of thing many times during the season and in all weathers and quality of pitches whilst having lumps kicked out of him.

My favourite memory was against Utd at Old Trafford when he ran the game for long periods and they couldn’t get near him, and of course Blackburn away.

R.I.P. Sir a true BWFC legend.

My all time BWFC hero, lived his life and played football in glorious technicolour, met him a few times and what an absolutely lovely fella. Genuinely gutted and upset today. Thx for the memories Frankie. xx

Only footballing hero I ever had.

As my son has grown up, there are 3 players I tell him about when we talk about the history of our famous old club

Sir Nat, Worthy, Supa John.

Top player, top shagger and that goal. Referees don't applaud goals, unless it's that one.

A bona Fide legend.

RIP Frankie.

A real 70s Mavericks not just a goal scorer but a scorer of great goals a one off . Rip frank

It was worth the entrance money just to watch him warm up.

RIP Frank gave me memories that will always be with me.
