Out of interest. What is the best way to confront a colonialist neighbour who wants you to leave your land & bulldozes your homes daily?

Shoot the cunt.

My lot? Don't you fucking  start 😉:D

They really are a disgusting shower of shit are they not?

Mentioned before, the wife nursed for a Lebanese dentist. He once answered a fellow muslim patients question, "What would you do if you won the jackpot on Lotto?"

"Push all of the Jews into the sea" came the response.

Here is the reason why it will never end. Bloodthirsty savages incapable of live and let live.

doesn't make sense

how would winning the lottery enable you to push all the jews into the sea?

I'd have pulled him up on that point alone

Hamas don’t represent all Arabs though do they?

And they’re hardly typical of other Arabs. Or their ‘raghead neighbours’ as you prefer to put it.

I wouldn’t describe Hamas as not confronting the problem. They seem happy to confront it in the most vile way possible, & at the brutal expense of their own people.

Out of interest. What is the best way to confront a colonialist neighbour who wants you to leave your land & bulldozes your homes daily?

I think most who have had to deal with Arabs would agree about how their brains are wired up (in my case Saudis, Iraqis and Egyptians) and will be familiar with their traits which is why I was not surprised at Hamas attempts to change the ground rules. Incidentally I have also dealt with Jewish people and also found them very difficult and insular (racist even) always seeing me as a worthless gentile.

I agree that the Israelis have inflamed everything and have been sanctioned by the UN many times for their actions in the West Bank, particularly the land-grabbing. It also appears to me that the treatment of the Palestinians by the Jews is not that dissimilar to the treatment they received from the Third Reich, you'd think they'd know better.

The entire Gaza situation is a shit-show (hence my scorched earth suggestion) and we either make the decision to leave them to it or somehow sort it out by some VERY definite threats of action and that is probably Mr. Trump's opinion also... that is the only way you stop the Arabs going round in circles and leading you a merry dance while the Israelis puff out their self-righteous chests.

We shouldn't have let the Ukrainians in (is there something like 200K of them here at the minute?), and we certainly don't want any Palestinian refugees coming in - happily, they're closing that loophole

Stop terrorising Israel, calling for the crushing of the place and wiping out Jews?

Round and round we go.

But Israel have been crushing Palestine for decades. There’s no hiding that they’ve caused far more carnage over the decades & continue to terrorise Palestinians daily.

Why aren’t they accountable or guilty for their part too?

There would only be a loophole to close if the family were granted a right to remain under the Ukrainian Family scheme, but that's not what happened

Their legal representatives made it clear from the outset that the family were ineligible to qualify for the scheme and that the form for the Ukrainian Family scheme was used because it most accurately reflected their personal circumstances (which is what Home Office guidance encourages people to do when making an application for entry clearance outside the immigration rules)

Their actual appeal was that the refusal to grant them a right to live in the UK was a breach of their right to a family life under Article 8 of the Human Rights Act, and the judge granted granted their appeal on that basis

I've dealt with Arabs many times and what Hamas are doing is typical... they go round and round the problem without confronting it and you end up cutting a deal usually from frustration... then half way through they deny everything and tell you they want more and expect you to start again... it's like sitting cross-legged  in a circle in a tent passing the pipe around.

I tend, like many other westerners to be more direct and that is what Trump is doing... cut the crap and tell me yes or know

LW is quite possibly the most short sighted, brainwashed muddlefuck on here.

Trump has already helped matters 'any time soon'. This whole problem needs a circuit breaker or it is never going away. He may well have come up with one or may come up with alternatives. Better chance of 'helping matters' than all which have gone before or we wouldn't be where we are, would we?

Semantics. You get the drift as does the Scottish plantpot.

Un-fucking-believable. Even their Egyptian and Jordanian 'brothers' don't want them. I wonder why?

Aww

Your good pal RoyalW will love this.

“Trump has helped matters”

😂😂

Aye, by removing sanctions on violent extremist settlers in the West Bank, & then suggesting two million Palestinians are forcibly removed & never allowed back. That will bring peace & stability.

I thought I’d seen some statements on here in the past week, but your claim tops them all 🙈

Hamas need eradicating if we are to find a long term solution. But there is nothing more short sighted than ignoring the reality of just how extremist this current Israeli government is. Until they are reined in too, nothing will change.

I would love Trump to sort it all out, genuinely be delighted. But a 3 year old could see the bias & naivety of his stance won’t work.

Hopefully one day we’ll have a US president with more balls than Biden & Trump. One that says stop bulldozing homes & taking land illegally. Give Palestine the right to exist as a state. Take our billions to defend yourself by all means, but if you don’t do the above, we’re cutting the funds.

Israel would have no choice.

Posted

It's also because Egypt wants to prevent Palestinians settling in the Sinai peninsula due to the risk of Hamas supporting insurgence against the Egyptian government

It's not for nothing there's a huge border wall between Egypt and Gaza

Posted

Heard it was all back on again... Hamas are releasing hostages as scheduled including this Saturday.

Would they have offered this without the threat of a twatting?

Anyway, we'll wait and see

"Their refusal is rooted in fear that Israel wants to force a permanent expulsion of Palestinians into their countries and nullify Palestinian demands for statehood"

.... bullshit :D

Bullshit ? You’ve got to be on wind up ?😁

Israeli policies & tactics of permanently displacing Palestinians is a daily practice.

And they’ve made no secret of wanting Gaza’s 2 million citizens to cross the border with no right to return. It already happened to the millions that previously left & weren’t permitted back. It’s a legitimate reason.

Absolutely no doubt their neighbours are worried about Hamas members coming in as well. Says that in the article. It would be a nightmare as Palestinians would be well within their rights to fight back for their land. And that would have to happen from somewhere like Egypt or Jordan.

No idea why anyone can find fault with the decision not to let them in.
