Just make a decision, I don't care now, but at least we can all plan around it.

Stop asking for the impossible task of the government being decisive

The real issue is staff isolating. 7000 currently across the NHS in london.

How do we deal with that?

Same as we've been doing for the last 10 years.

Expect the ones who are still there to pick up the slack!

Everyone best get clapping again because the NHS workforce is almost universally shagged out......

What would you do if it creeps up to something like 10k?

Cool.

Probably a good job.

Mind you, their contingency plans do seem to be the same. Prayers, hope, make it up as they go along.

Kipper wont like that, he says everyone should be prepared for every eventuality. Or summert. He gets confused.

Nonsense

you need to respond to data, not speculate about what might happen/the media want.

So you don’t prepare? You don’t have an idea how to respond?

Never had you down as the Dougie Freedman type.

Personally, I’d expect a government to be ready for most things, certainly when figures are on a particular trajectory.

But hey, you know, the “each day as it comes” approach has served dear Boris well overall. Kiiiiiind of.

You're going off on another tirade of bollocks.

Go for a walk, or if you're still isolating, open the windows, and stay away from the news for a bit.

No I’m really not

Todays events actually make sense. Diver is correct about waiting for more data.

My point is, that they now have time to prepare for bad news. I was simply asking what the response to that might be, since like every fucker else I’m trying to plan a Christmas.

Once again, it looks like I’m giving Boris too much credit. You’d think we’d all have learned that lesson by now…

The useless prick doesn't do decisive.

I can't get my head around it if they lock us down on 27th.  It means every fucker will ensure they go out on Boxing Day as a last hurrah.

Or you can choose to stay in which a big number will. Pubs round here are dead at the moment.
