Hospitalizations and intensive care cases are still among the lowest per capita in Europe, but have also begun rising.

Well if he got paid 80% of full salary to stay home and do nowt, then I'm sure he would.

I think this is the nail on head in general. Some Folk want a tax payer funded holiday again.

I wouldn't. We had that last year and the short fall fucked us. I was also made redundant.

Love this whole 'wasn't furlough great' crap. Ot wasn't, it was shit. Really, really shit.

You need to speak to people who were on it. I'm sure some flouted the system, but it was crap and I'm still paying it back.

It wasn’t aimed at you in any way. Your situation you made clear.
But there are large numbers of businesses and employeeswho want to close and let the tax payer pick up the tab.

I'm just saying it's not just me, so I wouldn't be so quick to give a sweeping judgement on it.

I just know a lot of people who are still struggling.

I get that, I know loads who went to work in tesco or as drivers. My Mrs did some freelance work which paid for Christmas.

I got a job after a week because I busted my chops to look for one and then worked to.build up my new place.

Also, I'm really, really lucky. All my family who were working gave us money each month to make up as much as they could.

I know I'm lucky but furlough was not a nice place to be. Uncertainty, then redundancy, then job seeking. Got mates who still at Tesco, trying to find other work. These people aren't shirkers.

There are loads of grafters, most of us are, the minority of workshy really are that in the grand scheme of things.

I don’t think these are typical workshy cunts. These are a new breed of tax payer funded extended holiday at home cunts.

I agree entirely. I know some through friends of friends etc. However as much as I used to think the country was awash with them, they really aren't. Most of us want to and do indeed work. They are a larger minority of lazy cunts than I would like for sure but not like the Daily Mail would have us believe.

These aren't just M&S workshy cunts... These are rishi funded, double jabbed, homes under the hammer addicted work shy cunts.

My Mrs had 2 periods of furlough when we didn't need it (i.e not when her industry was busy in lockdown one. Followed by redundancy.

She had a breakdown day after boxing day last year.

So everything I'm saying is in jest.

Also I'm still working, as is my Covid plagued other half, because of this farce. She's got press requests for statements up the wazoo, I've got a ton of activity to shift around.

I wonder if I'll get a nice cheese and wine party after we've finished?

Me and @bolton_blondie are hosting it

Cheese on sticks with pickles and pineapple in a cabbage

Box of wine

Bring your car keys

My all time favourite - just look at the fucking state of her! 😲😲😲

That bedspread looks very shiny. Maybe one would struggle to get any purchase?

I used to get up earlier to watch Braniac just for a glimpse of her as a 'nurse'.

Best offer we've had in years.

Be there with bells on Rudy my good man

Fruity cheese all the way.

Splendid I’ll stick the wine outside to cool it
