Looks like the "Channel that always shows both sides" unlike the MSM is in bother with Ofcom,  for, amongst other things, breaking impartiality rules

Ofcom investigation launched into GB News’s politician presenters | Politics | News | Express.co.uk

No doubt it's just a witch hunt though

lIRC if they're a news channel they have to adhere to certain guidelines around impartiality and can have the politicians on, if they're an entertainment channel they don't have to follow the impartiality rules but can't have sitting MPs on as hosts.

Pretty much correct, so they can't have it both ways.

They really should be investigating Neil Oliver and his conspiracy theories

Another one radicalised by doing his own research

I've just had a look to see what he's waffling on about, he's bonkers. His latest rant, on Twitter, is that he's not going in Sainsburys in Stirling again, as they have CCTV at the tills

What happened to him? He did his nice programme on the coastal lands and now seems to have unearthed Joe Wicks tinfoil hat and access to only Matt Le Tisser

Probably realised it was more lucrative to spout utter shite on GBNews, same as that ex-comedian Mark Dolan who used to present Balls of Steel. Seen quite a few comedians on twitter who knew him on the stand-up scene post about how amazed they are at his total transformation of character.

I genuinely don't think it's cynicism with Oliver, I think he's just gone too deep down a rabbit hole

It's a shame he's become a mentalist. I used to enjoy Coast

GB News has been hit with over 400 complaints in a single week, with three of the broadcaster’s programmes being singled out to Ofcom.

On Wednesday, the watchdog released its weekly complaints wrap-up from Tuesday 22 August to Monday 28 August 2023.

All three shows that were listed were GB News ones – presented by Nigel Farage, Dan Wootton and Mark Dolan.

Between them, the shows received 422 complaints, with the majority coming from Farage’s August 22 show, which received 247 complaints relating to comments about an incident at a Kabaddi tournament in Derbyshire, as Ofcom confirmed to Metro.co.uk.

Dan Wootton Tonight, which was broadcast on August 24, received 101 Ofcom complaints relating to comments made by Dan Wootton and Kwasi Kwarteng MP about Kelechi Okafor.

Mark Dolan Tonight was hit with 74 complaints for the show on August 25, in relation to comments made by Patrick Christys about Prince Harry and James Corden.

It’ll be all those folk that don’t watch it who have complained.

No idea what you’re referring to.

If people who are offended by GB News just didn’t watch it, there’d be no complaints.

You can’t complain about something you don’t know about.

So these people just watch it to complain? Is that what you’re saying?

Probably

So it might be an idea to be careful with content.

Dont give folk a reason to complain.

Especially if it’s likely to be upheld.
