Long time lurker, first time poster; not a Twitter using tit. I too am hooked on the pantomime that is the sale of BWFC, but I'm losing my patience with some of the posters on here. Please can certain members stop badgering Howard with the same questions? We've got a golden f*cking goose in insider info, and some of you are intent on asking for blind percentages and predictions. Nobody on here (Howard included) can directly affect the way this saga will end. If you haven't got something constructive to add, just sit tight like the rest of us.

Aye my point is that nobody gave a shit about ken being bent as a 9 bob note when we were all singing sweet Caroline on the pitch after forest. The only reason folk have stopped turning up is because it’s utter shite to watch and the players are being told they are spastics on a weekly basis by the manager. None of us are happy, but saying your kicking it in because of some bent owner is complete horeshit.

You should know by now this is just another in the long line of excuses for the stay away m0ngs some wouldbt go if we were in the champs league final & it was free. As the last time they went in 96 we got beat. A tale they never bore of telling stood in Hogarths on a sat afternoon waster tramps. That’s all they are

I wish they'd stop using that picture of the smug bastard sat in his office at the stadium, he hasn't been there for weeks. Here's one they can use for the next one...

Why let it affect you that much? Get a grip ffs. We’ve been through worse as fans and we will go through it all again. Stop being a fanny.

You weren't the only one wondering this. Pretty cryptic. Here's what I considered. Assuming Howard is genuine and honest, within the limitations of his role in PR: The PR/Comms team/agency/person working for the consortium decide to open a back channel communication to a fans site. They do this once it becomes clear that this will be a difficult acquisition to pull off more akin to a hostile takeover than a typical transfer of ownership. They decide to go via Moonshift to put pressure on KA and so cannot conduct any PR activity in the usual fashion. A positive reception by fans would be desirable. The back channel allows them to build some credibility and a groundswell of support for a bid which by its nature is unannounced until such time as there is a greater chance of success. The channel allows them to present a favourable impression of their bid, to alert the fans to details around the negotiations which they may otherwise be unaware of and to disseminate information which is helpful to be in the public domain without exposing the principals involved. They could even use the channel to pressure or signal to other parties who can be assumed to be reading, for instance the potential for them to walk away and forgoe the share recovery if Bassini's sweetener was increased from the £2m suggested, or to put questions around the source of Bassini's finances into the public domain without anyone getting their hands dirty directly. The anonymity of the account allows for deniability with little chance of negative repercussions should the acquisition fail. They pick a fan site rather than social media channel such as Twitter which is far higher profile and where the account would quickly generate too much attention from the wider world. They count on fans on the site to then distribute their message onwards. If the deal succeeds they've successfully laid the foundations for a positive response to the new ownership, with supporters taking the side of the new ownership in any questions which then arise around motivations/Bahrain human rights issues etc. If the deal fails, no direct exposure so no negative story to deal with, close the account and move on. Of course this is the internet and therefore should the first premise be false of course then Howard could be on a very well executed wind-up, executed with considerable elan, bordering on the pathological. He could be Ken Anderson for all we know. Laughing away as he embroiders his tale. Hopefully not however, as I've enjoyed reading his posts and found them very informative where insolvency law etc is concerned.

No one has better facilities or stadium than spurs now have, better to compare our facilities with, Bournemouth, Watford, Burnley, Cardiff, Everton, Huddersfield, Fulham, Leicester, Southampton, Palace, Brighton, Wolves and the like, none of which are better than ours.

Howard. My youngest lad is currently reading Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. I've discussed the character Uncle Joe with him and in his naivety he some how sees him as Charlie's kind elderly uncle. How do I explain in simple terms to an 8 year old that Uncle Joe is actually a good for nothing, selfish, worthless shithouse who has lay in bed for 20 years not contributing to the family in any way shape or form. Allowing Charlie's mother to work herself to death while watching on without a care in the world. However, the second Charlie finds his golden ticket the cunt drops his charade and forgets his lies about not being able to get out of bed and starts dancing around the house! With all this in mind how confident are you there's at least 65% pork in a Diddles £1.00 sausage barm?

Made a bit of a rod for my own back doing these haven't I! What have we've learned? - Well we've discovered some hidden Treasure today! Well at least that's what Gaspard means as a Spanish baby name (apparently it is also a variant of the English name Jasper too). As for it's meaning to BWFC, Gaspard Holdings Ltd have announced themselves today as bidders for the club, with almost a done deal - and are the ones supposedly referred to in court a fortnight back. - We needed some treasure because the day kicked off badly with Ken getting his extension on his 14 day notice and which pulled-up the Dark Horses expectant takeover of the club today. - Seems it also puts a big dent in them getting it too. The extension expires on the 10th but it seems (and I don't fully follow the logic), that if tomorrow liquidation is announced that the club ceases to exist at the close of play on the 9th. I assume with tomorrow being the 3rd, and a maximum of up to seven days before as Arnie would say we are 'terminated', that the 3rd is counted as the first day of the clock countdown with the 9th being the seventh and last if it ever got that far. - However the cavalry is riding into town. Hilary has signed up to defend us yet again and Gaspard is saying deal so nearly done - hopes for a further adjournment seem reasonable if it will help get us over the line. - Ken however would have to answer a lot of questions to the liquidator if the judge isn't minded to give him more time and we certainly wouldn't wish him to breakout in a further sweat that being the case would we? - If Gaspard are really our little treasures, then I'm not sure where Team Bassari now fit in? Surely the normally ever so reliable FIBS and LoV haven't got it wrong about Team B. convincing the EFL and also saying they had a done deal for the club? - And just for fun Nixon is reporting KA's dropped his price and Football Ventures are back on the scene - but I some how think they have given the Football V to Ken already. - Dark Horse stands nobly by and awaiting the fall out and jiggery pokery from tomorrows winder and the dance that inevitably will follow and is ready to gallop in and Trump everyone for ownership if it does gets to the 10th. Finally has anyone asked Howard how he thinks it will go today?

I would have expected the reporter sent by Talksport to be able to recognise an infamous character who's rumoured to be in with a shout, without having to ask him his name. It was Howard getting into his Rolls, trolling the radio.

I call bullshit. It's all secret in court this that and the other. Then a talksport journo then see's a guy leave court after the hearing. Get's into a Rolls Royce and the journo asks him who he is/representing. He replies, "Lawrence Bassini". Why the secrecy in court?

The longer this mess goes on the less confidence I seem to have in the so called bidders, Howard's mob seem to give the impression they want it but are really hoping someone else gets it. Bassini seems to be patiently waiting for the Bangkok drug run to be finalised before he's in a position to make a move so that leaves bennys mob to nip in and buy the club in the next 48 hours, thats if they can find a vessel to urinate in. So it looks like another adjournment, another week of ups and downs and then in 7 days time no doubt another reason or excuse not to do the deal will be found. All the time the people who really matter (the fans) are refused to go and do what really this should be all about, support their football team. What a fucking shambles!!!

Cannot wait to see the back of this thread! Just hoping the judge doesn't lose his/her rag and says enoughs enough. I've only worked on family side of courts where emotion comes into it more. Anyway sat on a long tail boat in the middle of the jungle at weekend, turns out the couple in front were from Leigh Bloke found out I was a Wanderers fan and spent the rest of the time I saw him moaning about penny shares...

@MickyD Not sure there is one for today. The quoted message is the closest we got. Sluffy is probably working on his as we speak. All in all - not much happened other than speculation about tomorrow. No one, not even Howard knows how tomorrow will play out. Kipper claims that Hillary Stonefrost is confident on an adjournment and Benny reckons his bidders are close - who are Gaspard LTD that the Bolton News did an article on today. They tried naively a couple years back and failed. Now they have more money from other members of a consortium and are more confident of getting a deal done. If you want H's bidders to win the race, you'd better pray for an adjournment tomorrow because that's the only way they can get in. Ken wants to sell to Bassini, apparently. Oh, and H reckons liquidation is unlikely, as it would involve Ken being investigated. Doesn't mean that the court won't rule for liquidation as we still have a 7 day period to sell the club in that time, but H's bidders would be out of the equation then as they won't raise their bid and Ken doesn't seem to want to deal with them anyway. Topping it off, Ken had a go at his players for striking.

In summary ... 1. We have Benny's mob, some comedy tyre kickers, Howard's mob fading out, and the mad fella plus a couple of dodgy blokes backed by Thai money launderers (allegedly). 2. We'll get an adjournment tomorrow in our 20 second hearing us: can we please have another ... judge: yes, now fuck off 3. By the state of this forum, no fucker in Bolton's done a scrap of work today 4. We've yet to establish how many times we can ask Howard exactly the same questions, but it's somewhere between fucking loads and infinity 5. Lots of folk upset that Howard's mob looking less likely despite the fact we've no idea who they are or what their intentions for the club are (although H seems to temper expectations whenever it looks likely and offer juicier bits when it looks off) 6. Turning up on Saturday gets you out of the house for a couple of hours with the added benefit of not having t watch the match. 7. You can still boo from outside (in the likelihood we're playing shit)

I thought No Deal for a while, but they’ll come up with a new law no doubt within the next day or so to flatten it. Stinks now of utter corruption...... One lesson we should all heed, irrelevant of leave or remain is the utter “I’m alright Jack” attitude of the elite here, which is so ironic. Our pathetic government and the equally corrupt EU should be forced to sit in a room with Gonzo, force feeding them porn, Mr H giving them the death stare and forcing humongous lines of bing spelt in their initials up their depleted septums and bwfcfan5 feeding them self obsessed bullshit. That combination would soon be a decent government running our fine nation.

I gather our resident remainiacs have been quoting Goldman Sachs as a reputable source on matters related to Brexit today? At first blush you'd imagine there wouldn't be a business in the world that's a fan of stifling regulation of the variety imposed by the micro-managing, oppressive EU. You'd be wrong. There are big multi-nationals who love it - because it keeps new competitors from ever entering their markets and therefore stitches things up in their favour. Such organisations enjoy a very, very cozy relationship with the EU indeed. I give you.... Goldman Sachs, Morgan Stanley, JP Morgan, Citigroup, BMW, Airbus. There are others. Airbus was found by the WTO to have received millions in illegal subsidies from the EU in 2018. These organisations are not in it for the UK or the people of the UK. They are in it entirely for themselves. The EU makes life nice and comfy for them and the threat of Britain leaving the EU sends them in to PR overdrive because their world will be turned upside down with new competitors in the horizon and the need to compete in genuinely competitive markets. There's are reasons that the EU is the slowest growing part of the world and a substantial one is the way the EU's overbearing regulation fixes markets in favour of their friends, listed above. The sooner we are free of this racket and the elites who prosper from it the better. And let's not be quoting Goldman Sachs like they are an impartial observer.....

They are using the growth figures from prior to the vote which were much higher than the rest of the EU, it is no surprise growth has leveled off and that very possibly would of happened whether or not we voted leave, of course Goldman sachs were anti brexit. I would not believe anything they say regarding Brexit.
