  1. Is there any reason we can’t all agree Hamas are cunts, the IDF tactics in Gaza are horrific and wrong, Kneecap and Bob Vylan should be investigated by the police (and punished accordingly), those pricks who admitted vandalising the plane at Brize Norton should be locked up, that all grooming gangs should be marched into a volcano and that James McClean is an odious wanker? It doesn’t make you a pro-Palestinian anti-Semite leftie or a right-wing thicko racist or Roy Walker to say what you see.
  2. I don't think what Bob Vylan said was disgusting and I don't particularly care what they think, it's what artists do, so what I think what the IDF are doing is disgusting Same folk got upset when Stormzy spoke up for Grenfell victims at the Brits
  3. Marxist and Spencers should do em.
  4. I also find it a bit weird that people are seemingly more outraged by these chants than by the tens of thousands of dead Palestinian children. You might need to re-evaluate your life choices if you did yourself in that group.
  5. Middle class ponces who haven't got a clue what they're actually shouting for.

I think being a winger involves more than being a pest, I honestly can not imagine a player ever who has looked less like a winger in my life. Appreciate will now get a list of players that could be worse

He’s not been given a chance he came at the wrong time but I still think he could turn out to be a good signing given the chance., game of opinions.

We've been down this route before of signing younger players from the lower leagues, hoping they could make the step up and it didn't work, It played a big part in us getting relegated from the Premier League. We spent about £20 million building a Championship squad while still being in the Premier League. Danny Shittu, Marvin Sordell, Mark Connolly, Sam Ricketts, Tyrone Mears, David N'Gog, the list is nearly endless. Not to say it wont work this time but we need some experience and we don't have it.

Just spoken to my IFK Norroping mate who rates him highly and fully expects him to play in the premier league at some point

Problem I have is I genuinely know none of the players we sign anymore probably outside of Mcatee and Collins as we’d seen them v us. I assume most are in the same boat.
  13. Farage to duet "I am sailing" dressed as an Afghani small boat migrant.
  14. According to unicef, The IDF have killed 14,500 Palestinian kids, made 17,000 orphans/separated from parents and blown the limbs off thousands more. 14,000 are suffering malnutrition now and 600,000 haven't got access to enough water. New born babies are dying at a high rate. The Israelis blocked humanitarian aid for 10 weeks and the international press is banned from entering Gaza. Calling for their death at a concert isn't going to do much to change this but if what unicef says is accurate there's going to be increasing calls for war crime trials.
  15. Two stories from today's BBC. And guess which one is making most people angry...... Personally - I think they're both unacceptable. But I know where I'd be devoting my energies 👍

I'm dubious about the Celtic link. We may well have had a look at this lad and possibly even made a bid. However when a prospective selling club seems to be bandying about the fee they want then it's time to cool off a bit. Being used to try to create an auction is not where we need to be spending our energies and I am sure SS and Fergal will think the same. We seem to have suffered the same fate with N'mai from Salford. I liked the Simons signing because there was very little pre-amble in the media and the Richard Taylor signing had absolutely none. The former came with a fee too. I hope we can do our business that way without being used and manipulated.

    Point of order: 5m-0.5m = 4.5m 4.5m x 10% = 450k 500k + 450k = 950k Can't be letting that kind of sloppiness slide.
  18. True - but I am an see parallels between this and that Lucy women that got put in prison. I suppose the only destinction is that nobody is going to realistically be able to go out and murder a member of the IDF - which was a distinct risk in the Southport incident. This is one of those that veers very close to the line for me. Chenting 'Free Palestine' fair enough if that's your worldview. Changing 'death to the IDF' - overstepping a line. And while I could make more of an argument for an artist doing it - these fuckwits in the crowd who started changing back need their heads screwing back on. Peace and love my arse!

But the point is people with no idea if he is any good or not are declaring all over Twitter that not paying £1m shows a lack of ambition.

And the same people who said we should live within our means when we went bust. Great at spending other peoples money.

Not sure 77 games for Motherwell and 108 games for Celtic prior to joining us quite qualifies Walker as unknown!
  27. To be fair, you were suggesting there was a difference in legality depending on whether the incitement is acted/in the process of being acted upon, which there isn't

Only Kelman has played in League 1 and I think he'd cost more than a million. So that leaves the other two proven strikers you mention who are totally unproven at our level.
  29. And thanks to our government and many others they can

  31. During a concert? Fucking right they should. They should never be given a licence to perform ever again, it'd be hate speech ffs. If this was some Right Wing band shouting that kind of shit the outrage would be equally as justified. Seems there's only you trying to downplay it.

Be reet they will be distracted watching Kneecap
  33. I've been reading about the logistics of the strikes this week. Irrespective of what they achieved - it was a hell of an operation!
  34. The International Atomic Energy Agency are obviously one of these anti Trump fake news communists we keep on hearing about.
  35. Absolutely bang on. I was struck by the music festival angle. Woodstock in the Sixties - peace, love and rock and roll. Glastonbury present - "death to Israelis' and republican rap in gaelic from a band name selected to glorify the favoured IRA punishment. London Wanderer is off his fucking trolley. Hopefully the law comes down hard on these violence inciters and on the stupid organisers who allowed this bullshit to go ahead.

Fifth tier, they got back to the National League last season, but agree he isn’t going to make it here by the looks although only 20.

Joking aside mate, my medical incident made me realise there's much more to life than arguing with folk, plus it also made me realise there's some bloody good people looking out for me, your goodself and many more absolute diamonds of people on here included too, hence my return on here, so, a big thank you ♥ Life is too short 👍
  38. Surely he will be getting a knock?
  39. Absolute disgrace. I would ban both from ever being able to perform in the UK again. Better still bang one of them up for inciting or attempting to incite violence. More worrying is the brain dead support from stupid cunts in the crowd who have no concept (or probably even knowledge) of IRA bombings in Manchester, M62, Warrington, Brighton etc. Fucking simpletons of which we seem to be breeding more and more of. The organisers should be getting a knock too.

Good game. Good result. Nice football. Beat the Germans. What’s not to like?
  41. I'm there quite often as my daughter is at York St John university. Love the place, but today was just moving her out of her first-year digs, so wasn't much fun to be had.
  42. You’d have fitted in nicely back then
  43. Some of the lads I've met at the match are the best people in my life.
  44. We lost one of our small group a few years back. His last game/goal Wilbraham vs Forest. Makes me smile and remember him and the look on his face, every time it pops up. Hold on to the happy memories.
  45. You've clearly never met me.
