Went 20 years go but would definately like to return one day. We stayed in Beruwalla but the hotel was frankly a bit shit, think it has shut now. We went to Kandy, Galle, elephant orphanage, various shops and villages, tea plantations a diamond museum type place and a safari. Only did Colombo & Negombo, but really liked it. The people are the most friendliest I've met, they're lovely.... Would love to go back, but try Galle or Kandy next time.
