Brianna Ghey Murder

I live in Culcheth, only about a mile away from the murder, the local gossip is that the lad has previously been suspended for drugs, the girl got expelled from Culcheth high school and then ended up at Birchwood high school where the victim attended, nothing nice to say about the female from what I've heard.

Give over, they probably had no idea.

Reckon he’d have packed his own suitcase before they went home? Can’t have been cheap by the looks of it; you’d have thought they’d have asked what they were getting for their money. For what it’s worth, I don’t think those sorts of things should be getting through customs anyway if it’s not being brought through by a licensed dealer or whatever.

Customs aren’t arsed about a few knives coming through. Bring an extra sleeve of fags though and that’s another story

They will be walking amongst us when there time is up and free and no one will have a clue who they are .

won't happen, people will know who they are.

They'll wait a long time for their "justice" but they will get it.

We hear that about most many murders. How many murderers have had their “justice” upon release?

depends upon your viewpoint of justice.

Making their life hell by ensuring any opportunities are taken away, ensuring "secret" names are given out and staying inside the law. To murder a murderer makes you as bad as them. You just have to hope that lots of little things come along to make their life as hellish as possible

Totally agree with what your saying but the likelihood is they will have a new identity, they will be a totally new person (obviously signed off by the prison doc), be placed into job, placed into some form of accom etc etc. the cunts could be serving you a Costa in 30 years and you won’t have a clue who they are.

Will they?

Cunts like, but it's just another murder

Not like they are nonces or public enemy number one, certainly on the inside I wouldn't have thought

By the time they come out, if they do, no one will remember them

Heard from lad at work that the girls who did it mums a teacher.

She isn't.

I knew the family fairly well growing up, the girl's eldest brother and I went to school together.

I understand the desire for the individuals to be named, I just can't help but feel for the rest of the family when the names are made national news, they aren't bad people but they'll be treated as such.

its a nonsense decision imo

they will get anonymity on release, so all this does is punish (probably) innocent family members

it feels like bowing to the medias demand to know everything

And this is the issue, their life will become hell. I was watching the news again the other night, when they spoke about the case, the more I hear, the more horrific is sounds. It's just absolutely awful, that poor kid

What is the public interest in naming them?

They'll be inside for 30 years maybe

I know whe know the names of the Bulger killers but they'll have new identities now

There was an incident in Walkden a few years back- absolutely horrific. They tore their own family apart in the process- I’m talking families living in hiding and having to move every few years. Siblings in their 60s now at war, grandparents knowing they’ll never see their families again- that might have even been before the names were released.

Those close will know
