It was such a strange game today

2-0 up and great football and thinking 5-0 @ 66/1 was a cert

Then we appeared to take our foot off the gas to to half time

Then we appeared to shit ourselves second half

Everything that's good about us and everything that's bad about us on one game

The main issue being if the opposition are up for it and give us a game we wilt

Cogley 3 out of 10 in my opinion, but we all see games different.

Agreed on Morley, some real quality at times.

Agreed on Paris, worryingly off the pace and if he's not fit it was a stupid substitution at 2-1 to take Morley off for him.

Forgot about Cogley. Agree, his worst game by a mile today. Everyone's allowed an off day though.

Don't do it again Cogley

Can't understand why we weren't 4 up at halftime. They offered and threatened with absolutely nothing. We should have put this game to bed but this laboured play-out from the back, especially in the 2nd half, was counterproductive. It nearly cost us.

If we were 2 down after 25 away from home the opposition would get it forward quickly play with tempo and test us, we do exactly the opposite. Not good enough… and it’s on a regular basis.

No one upset just recognising we were rubbish again after HT.

Seems we’re always quick to jump on anything to moan at.

say the run the week before the break, we lose at Port Vale, win Stevenage win Carlisle there wouldn’t of been as much anger,

we’ve won comfortably today, granted could’ve been more but still it’s not good enough in some eyes.

might be me how I’m interpreting things.

However watching Andy Holts meltdown on Twitter tonight’s is ace

Very happy with the win but far off the standards we need to set.

The issue for me was we didn't win comfortably

We were in a position to but didn't take it

And because of that the second half was anything but comfortable and was massively relieved at the final whistle

First half was great

Second half nervier than it needed to be.

We need to kill teams off when we’re on top, and have a bit more confidence in ourselves generally.

But we’re 4th, we’d all have taken this at the start, and Evatt will be aware of what’s needed. He just needs to graft away and sort it.

They're not training properly. Look shattered every game in the second half, which is either a fitness issue or mentality issue.

The passing game, keeping the ball & having the opponents run around after is supposed to wear them down ... not us.

tbf, over the years honing it down, it did. Hence the plethora of late goals. Maybe it's been worked out.

Is that not what Northampton did?

We seemed to sit back in second half, but they defo improved.

I know you're being silly, BUT.

Second half, Jerome was "warming up" on WSL and appeared to be shouting orders at Bod and Dan, like an attacking coach.

If Jerome can actually share some wisdom from his better days, that's not a bad thing to have. If it means he doesn't play, even better!

711 games

160 goals

0nly 6 in the last 3 years

What Wisdom was he giving them

Morley worries me.

Technically very good but just seems like he can’t be arsed half the time.

Great ball from him for the second goal but against dips in and out. All three of them struggled in their own ways with GT not looking comfortable playing wider and Sheehan has a tremendous habit of going missing when the going gets tough.
