Usually they play with 4 at the back but he implies he might go for 352 to match us up but as you say it could well be bollocks as they don’t have much in the way of natural wide men and missed out on signing one in the window.

You never know with Harris though - he’s a canny manager and will have prepared well.

Of course by attack he could well mean they play a high press like Barnsley, not sure they’d execute it as well as Barnsley , but you’re right he’s a good manager. We’ll need to be on it from the start

Hey Lusty, I see you got plaudits on the Cambridge board from one of their posters who even labelled you “intelligent!!” 😉. You don’t get much of that on here do you? Lots of love for Jack Iredale too it will be a shame if he doesn’t play.

Kacha has played up front despite wearing 10 for a lot of the season but now Taylor has arrived plus his old strike partner Bonne, he may get pushed wider or be benched - but I expect he’ll play tonight as Bonne has just come in the door. Longer term I reckon his place is under threat.

He got it at walsall at new year too

Ricketts terrorised us a bit that day didn't he, Jan 2000.  I wasn't there but I remember the pressure BSA was under, 7 games without a win including home defeats to Tranmere and Stockport.

Won last 4 games of season to sneak into play offs.  The infamous year of the 3 semi final defeats!

Most boards are friendly enough and willing to talk about the pros and cons of  their team for the most part - even Lincoln before their dickhead  administrator banned me for suggesting a cracking goal we scored was a good goal. Still banned3 years later. All clubs have their idiots though and Wigan score highest on the wanker count. Not surprising really.

He's scored 3 for them in the League.

They all count, but I've seen those goals and from memory all 3 were tapped into an open goal from about 3 yards (not knocking him BTW, got his qualities, but being a goalscorer isn't one of them).

Weather report.

Currently dry but the wind will play a factor if it keeps up. Cycled past the stadium this morning,  fierce headwind but coming from the South so should be protected from it a bit in the away end

Not pissing down then!

Horrible here.

I'd like to see a few changes to freshen things up tonight:

Definites - Tomo for Maghoma, and Collins for Vic

Maybes - Bod for Charles (been off it for a while and could do with a breather), Morley for Sheehan (took a battering in the last game, so could probably do with a rest)

If ready - Jones for Taylor (would add more attacking threat down the right but also a bit of leadership)

With the wind and predicted heavy rain from 4PM I can see this being 1-0 either way.

Why does the wind and rain make it a 1-0 game?
