I know cheap tickets, but it's felt like the first time in ages, if ever since doing these cheap community days, where the away team has brought more than a taxi, certainly over 1,000. The matches I can remember of the top of my head: Posh, Leyton Orient, Exeter, Charlton, Accrington. I think Reading will bring more than those combined. Yeah, my point is that the discount we've done has barely had an impact at all on the size of the away followings. This time being an exception, could be looking at 1,500 Reading fans coming, whereas it probably would've been 500 max beforehand. Agree that the club has to be smart on these things. Dates being a huge factor but also the opposition club, obviously make no sense doing such a discount for when Derby, Wigan or Blackpool come to town.
