They have and we have been missing off form charles and shit victor too, i guess

Still feel its too simplistic to just look at exeter to make a point we havent really missed the best keeper in the league

And we have missed chances all season

You get away with it when you have clean sheets galore

Weird one now with Vic. Same number of goals as that useless lad who played alongside Collins Monday…..only difference being it took the useless lad a lot less time to score em

Not that you can trust anything the BBC says, but some interesting stats on our top scorer list.

Charles miles ahead in goals and MPG. Collins’ hatrick means his MPG is now very impressive. As you say, Bod takes fewer mins to score than Vic.

Also, maybe Dan just needs more game time - better MPG than Bod and Vic… 🙃

Midfield also interesting - Dempsey and Sheehan clearly assist others’ goals, but don’t get many themselves. Maghoma is a goal scoring midfielder, rather than creating so many goals for others. Thomason does a bit of both.

hes been in the let downs of the season for me

Collins+Bod at home are a class act, their link up play & natural ability shines massively with a good playing surface. Where as Dion+Vic in prior home games looked lost, fighting with the ball every time it came up to them & devoid of any serious threat. Then again in an away game on shit pitches I'd much rather have a Vic/Dion chasing lost causes, pressing, doing the dogged work asking questions as neither Bod/Collins have really shown anything in an away game not necessarily their fault it's the lack of confidence & safety first approach on the ball in building up. I felt for Vic when he got injured as he came into some good form, looked sharp & lead the line brilliantly away at Barnsley with Collins. They all have their strengths/weaknesses just a shame we haven't got the options as it's a lot of fire power for the level with plenty of goals in them 4.

It’s not happened for Dempsey this season, looks a shadow of the player he was last season, one of the first names on the team sheet last year .

Bloke was playing with a broken bone in his back.

God knows what the legacy of that has been, but he was understandably off his best, and has been in and out since.

Not a let down for me all things considered.

I agree; started the season well until the pain got too much. He will come good again but coming on late and trying too hard is an issue.

I hope the players aren't a bit despondent after that draw yesterday.

They have to remain professional and appreciate that it could have been worse, and remember that a win on Saturday means there is just a point in it.

Keep winning and applying pressure is all they can do now.

Just don't let themselves down with a weak performance.

For me he was captain material last season, maybe it’s took him longer to fully recover , he’s one of those players who benefits from a run of games . When he first joined it took him a while to nail down a place, and with our midfield doing ok this season he’s found it hard to get a run.

Not arsed about recent form, stats, mins per goal, whatever, but if Charles is fit, he plays in my opinion.

I'm of the same opinion. Assuming they've trained well, Charles & Baxter both start. If Charles can only manage an hour and Coleman is on the bench just in case, that will suit
