You are right it could happen, and has against us. But McAtee standing in their half meant they could not restart.

Those celebrations last night, penny finally dropped with the players

Never seen them react like that, goal, post match then coming back out of the tunnel for another go

Mind boggling that people don't think we're rivals still

That last night was much better than any win against 'the rags' or blackburns of the world

"........and if, you know, your history, it's enough to make you heart go oh, ooh, oooh, ooooh".

Clearly, you don't.

Few kids in work today chatting about the match (sensible ones that admitted defeat),

Both mentioned "your number 7" CMG, one saying their players and fans were just mesmerized by him, wondering what the hell was going on..

He was pretty untouchable when he came on,

They were pretty scathing about Tutu..

Like I said it's not up to the ref to arrange a team. Anyway, it looked as though it could have happened yesterday. Slightly different but I remember Sol Campbell celebrating a late winner against Argentina (I think). He was in the corner with everyone and Argentina charged up the pitch from the free kick. Yes it's different but the same principle. Get organized.

Anyway I think it's a thing.

It is. The ref can allow the opposition to restart the game as long as none of the scoring team are in the opposition's half. So this isn't usually an issue but the fact our players sprinted back into our half could have left it open to Wigan kicking off except McAtee was specifically told by the management to stay in their half. Therefore they couldn't kick off.

I have seen this quick KO scenario happen before, but not in this country. If McAtee hadn't been told I reckon things could have got interesting. But looking at the goal celebrations it looked like Baxter was aware of this situation. I must get out more.

Not sure anything in the Ts and cs gives them powers to prevent you having a pee

That was/is truly ridiculous.

Would they have lifted someone for taking an emergency piss in the stand?

Or asking Baxter to fetch a fire bucket?

Fans can be twatty at times, but I struggle to see what preventing someone going to the bog is going to achieve.

I was reminded earlier by a relative what I said after I saw the result of the first Rugby League Super League game of the season back in Feb: Wigan 0 Leigh 1 with a drop goal in added time.

"I bet Bolton do not do that in the football in March".

Meanwhile over on the Wigan forum theres been a Bolton fan called 'Happy Days' who's been arse licking the Pies all week.

Wouldn't mind betting its a poster off here who regularly visits our opponents forums and sucks up to them.

I said the same. And thoroughly enjoyed both games 😁
