I've had issues with them recently mate, do you have a winning account by any chance?

Seeing more and more of this. Not from 365 but I have had 'warnings' from the local TAB, Ladbrokes and Sportsbet down here. All because of regular winning football bets. Funnily enough, 365 is the only one of my accounts which hasn't issued a warning. Been having the same results with them.

My son and I have taken around $60k off them over a 7-8 year period. Not exactly megabucks but they don't like consistent winners.

I am reminded of a comment from the brother of a good Sri Lankan friend of ours down the street (the dentist the missus often worked for). The brother, who is a floor manager at Crown Casino in Perth) when hearing of the warnings I'd had said "It's the same with us. Casino's absolutely love people that come in with 10 bucks wanting to win a thousand. They hate people who come in with a thousand and want to win $10. We don't like winners".

I replied by saying 'the Casino I am familiar with loves militant Palestinians' =@

Paddy power do this, has someone at the same address as you recently opened an account with them?

Or have you recently had a decent sized win that you wouldn't normally bet on?

Aside from super 6 I've never bothered betting.  A few posters here suggesting they're 'up'.  Anyone prepared to admit they're 'down?  I once worked with a lass who found out her husband had run up a debt of £80k on on line casinos.

A bloke who used to come into one of our local pubs was always telling us about his massive wins. After a few years, he stopped being seen out and about - it turns out that he'd, through a combination of fruit machines and bookies, managed to spunk away his fairly recent inheritance (allegedly upwards of £100K) and got himself into all sorts of bother with credit cards and loans), lost his home, lost his family. One of my mates was manager of the local Ladbrokes at the time, and said he used to walk in, and start randomly whacking £50/£100 on virtual greyhound racing and virtual cricket etc  (which apparently is a thing)  -  in between events, he was on the roulette. Apparently he could easily burn £500 in under an hour - sometimes he left a few grand up, but obviously more often than not, he'd leave with nothing. He wasn't in there every day, just once or twice a week, but the thought was that he was moving between bookies on a daily basis, so as not to make it too obvious how much of a problem he had.

I still see him about, but he's a shell of a man these days, and mostly looks off his tits on some drug or other

Went to a funeral a couple of months ago, and in the pub afterwards, the barmaid was laughing and joking about her addiction to mobile betting apps. Said she'd lost >100k over the last 2 years, all funded by credit cards and loans. Fucking mental. She was in her 50's too, so not the naivety of youth.

I would say I am usually level year on year, stopped backing the horses which was where I lost money, on football bets I am usually up over the season but it is hardly pro punter levels. Bet365 are a joke, even the tone of the email is pathetic.

This will probably be the reason

As you note, it's piss poor communication and a joke they've closed the account

my 365 account was hacked 2 weeks ago, all funds transferred to the casino and blown on blackjack

was some doing to convince them it wasn't me,  although foreign IP addresses should have been enough

anyway got a new account and funds back, but they've refused to move my ante post bets over

one being a lucky 15 with both Leeds and Doncaster winning the leagues

I have lost a small fortune gambling, did get to  stage where it was getting silly so I cut back.

Never got to the stage where I did not have money to pay bills but looking back money could have been spent better 😂. I was earning good money and was single but used to be amazed by how much people I knew were not on good money and had families used to bet.

The online roulette machines have been described as the crack cocaine of gambling. You used to be able to bet £100 per spin and there was a spin every 6 seconds ! In a casino at least they have to count chips and pay people out, in the bookies or online it is instant. Limited to £2 per spin now, but people put £50 on the wheel and there is pre spin gamble that lasts 2 seconds where you have to gamble your £2 upto £50 before the wheel spins.

I used to enjoy it and could cope with the losses but am now happy doing a fiver on football every so often but have no line accounts.

according to my sky app, I'm £2059.25 down over the last 12 months- staked £4184.70, won £2125.45

£1k of that was my banker that we'd finish top 6 to cover not going up which has just been processed

so with that in mind, I'm averaging being down about £20 a week, which is fine by me as it's just a bit of fun and I do occasioally have a decent win of £100+ of a weekend

I've been banned from Bet365, and my Wifes account was also banned to fairly recently :)

It seems that winners are sinners.

"Bookies" are spineless cunts these days. Nothing more than commission agents.

Why don’t folk just use Betfair?

They don’t give it shit if you win as they ain’t paying out.

Fucked it off when Paddy Power took them over. Never been the same.

The original was excellent.

Terrible disease for those unfortunate enough to be badly afflicted with it.

In my experience, most are well in control of what the eggheads call a 'leisure activity'.

Most are in control but the minority that get hooked can ruin lives.

The Investigations Manager when I worked for the Building Society said every fraud he ever investigated came down to ‘Birds Booze or Bookies’.  He wanted to add ‘blokes’ to list as more women were working , never had an issue with drugs causing trouble.
