Aaaah. It's that loan we were promised years ago !

Highly rated him. Seen a few bit that they want to land him in the championship

So what's the story here, why have they got Bolton kits on?

Offered them either 5 kits to use, or a 5 a side team of McAtee, Lolos, CMG, Randall and Collins.

They chose the kits.

I saw at one match when Sturridge scored Elmander didn't celebrate or congratulate him. Blanked the whole moment.

Given that Elmander was letting his contract run down fck him.

One of my most, if not the most, disliked BWFC football players.

Cant stand the disinterested, thumbs up, moody waste of money fucker

Still scored arguably the best goal I've seen anyone score in a white shirt.

If be had been waring a scouse or manc shirt, it would still be headlining match of the day now.

Some signings just signify a change in fortune and end of an era.

For years before that we'd been so astute. Big Sam and Gartside routinely pulling rabbits out of the hat. Some didn't work but christ loads did.

Elmander was the first time we had actual proper dough to throw at a transfer. Big league tackle after years of haggling and singing freemans.

What a shambles it turned out to be and that transfer was just the start of us fluttering cash away on over priced and over values mercenaries.

We were better off fishing for bargains than trusting PG with Eddie's dosh on his own.

Bolton Wanderers are lining up a loan move for Chelsea goalkeeper Teddy Sharman-Lowe, sources have told FLW. The 22-year-old won League Two with Doncaster Rovers, who are also keen to renew his move for a second season! #BWFC #DRFC

From twitter

I'm probably in the minority on here, but I wouldn’t be surprised to see a new keeper as a number 1 coming in, Southwood is ok, but just have a feeling that he won't be our number 1 next season, number 2 at best.

Yeh can’t disagree with that pal.

I dislike him, get more angry and have a much poorer opinion of him than I do our low sock wearing crew.

I honestly think they care more for the club, or perhaps more their future and status at the club than that Swedish fucker ever did

Not quite true, we'd signed Anelka for £7m

GM was given relatively loads to spend and he bought some decent players in

But JE was wasted on him, who showed signs of actually being decent under Coyle

Never seen a rant like this from you before.

Agree with you. Really don’t expect Southwood to be number 1. He’s a very able number 2, but we already know SS has some reservations about him. The fact Baxter has gone, and it’s such a unique position, would suggest to me SS already knows who is coming in. And it’ll either be an out of contract player or a season loan.

Well, if it is a loan, he'd better be good.

Obviously Trafford was a bit special, but it's not likely to get another like him.

If Southwood isn't going to be the main man, then surely SS is going to look for a permanent move for someone else.

Moreover, we'd be back to square one this time next season.

Yep. I’m completely speculating. Trafford had a rough ride at Accy Stanley prior to joining us on loan. I remember a lot of fans being critical of IE for bringing him in but he was brilliant.

Hopefully SS can find another one!

If SS can sort out the defensive side of our game, and a better structure, I really don't think the keeper will be as big an issue as it's being suggested.

Think everyone is just playing their own version of fantasy football.

I'm gonna whack all my dosh on a number 9, 2 wingers and CDM.

If there's any cash left I'll go for a decent keeper.

18 goals in 95 appearances btw.

McAtee will score more.

I'm not saying Coyle was a better manager than megson

But I know a lot of players felt represeed under megson and weren't able to their thing

Which is why they initially flourished under Coyle when he gave them that freedom to play their own game

The problem then was they felt they didn't have a game plan or tactics

Point being

Elmander was shite for the first two seasons under megson and much better under Coyle

Guess who his manager was when he didn't make double figures for the season

Barnsley folk on Twatter after getting McAtee back, maybe in a swap deal with Phillips.

I would swop him for a couple of Barnsley chops!
