London Wanderer Posted July 3, 2025 Posted July 3, 2025 Can’t seem to get this out my head today. Hold your loved ones close tonight folks. And if you’ve got a daft grudge with anyone in your family, be the one to try & put it right. R.I.P If any set of fans can honour him the way he deserves, it’ll be the Liverpudlians❤️ Quote
Popular Post gonzo Posted July 3, 2025 Popular Post Posted July 3, 2025 Looks like we have entered who can be most grief stricken and suggest the most ludicrous things stage across the socials. Why can't people just be respectful and dignified without turning it in to a massive grief junkie attention seeking cock waving exercise all trying outdo eachother as to who can be most upset? Quote
Popular Post Zico Posted July 3, 2025 Popular Post Posted July 3, 2025 Scousers already blaming The Sun for getting in his eyes Quote

Why can't people just be respectful and dignified without turning it in to a massive grief junkie attention seeking cock waving exercise all trying outdo eachother as to who can be most upset? It happened within hours- the guy who put his Everton shirt on to show remorse, the first guy interviewed on sky; local journalists being dead professional… I’ve got a mate who lives local- he’s Liverpool fan and by default are his kids… I’ve seen his 10 year old in the shirt, and can believe they sing songs on the way to school… genuinely gutted for him; kids will be heartbroken… then we have a 40 year old I know who lives nowhere near Liverpool (has scouser parents tbf) has this done today; Marked it Jota 😢 x Edited July 3, 2025 by Dr Faustus Quote

Popular Post W.cramp Posted July 5, 2025 Popular Post Posted July 5, 2025 While I totally agree it is a very sad event , I can't help but thinking ffs turn it in a tad, a young man very sadly dies in a car accident - it happens every day but we don't hear about most as they are not young famous sportsmen. Just let his family grieve in peace and in the way they choose. Quote

Something not quite right about people like that. But at lease @L/H White can top up his tan. Quote
Burnden Pies Posted July 5, 2025 Posted July 5, 2025 Tbh I find these grief junkies trying to outdo each other obscene and makes me feel very uncomfortable. It's not about you ffs. What's wrong with a simple heartfelt RIP and to just let the poor family grieve? Stop trying to get in on the act you utterly sad twats Quote
paulhanley Posted July 5, 2025 Posted July 5, 2025 RIP to the two lads and condolences to their families. It was a double take moment when reading the news. Understandable that the fans of the club are rallying around. However I can also see the point some are making about the mawkish nature of some of the reaction. It becomes another form of virtue signalling ego-tripping and there is too much of it in the modern world. Quote
