Used to play on St Mathews School on Sundays behind Skagen court as well where he never played in goal always up front was a unit and a dirty Bastard as i remember but he never stood out back then. I caught the 501 bus from moor lane must be about 1980 and he was on the same bus He had been to the Army Careers on Great Moor St to join up. His Sister was already in the Army......Never seen him from that day . Played a lot with Blake at Cardiff i remember before moving back North and going to do well at Bury I used to play on St Matts too with Phil, weeknights too....he was the biggest tit liner ever 😃......but a bit of a mard arse back then. Last time I saw his sister Shirley she was a nurse at Townleys. Quote
CambridgeBWFC Posted 4 hours ago Posted 4 hours ago Been fairly even so far, Turnbull just missed the best opportunity there though Quote

London Wanderer Posted 4 hours ago Posted 4 hours ago Need to be a bit more clinical when we are in the final 3rd. Couple of wayward passes. Need to find another level here, we’re not far off. Quote
ianofcleveleys Posted 4 hours ago Posted 4 hours ago A game where we're not having a lot of the ball, when we do get it we need to look after it better than we have up to now. They've a way of playing that'll give us a chance or two, we need to make the most of them Quote
CambridgeBWFC Posted 4 hours ago Posted 4 hours ago Had to do better there Burstow, or leave it for Forss Quote
maaarsh Posted 4 hours ago Posted 4 hours ago Belting save by their centre half, got brilliant hands for a big man Quote
RUREADY2ROLL Posted 4 hours ago Posted 4 hours ago Burstow not having one of his better games; we should be in front. Quote
CambridgeBWFC Posted 4 hours ago Posted 4 hours ago (edited) Cardiff edged the first 10 minutes or so, but we started to get a hold and then finished pretty strong. Defending well, although Turnbull should have done better. Had less posession but had more attempts, and Burstow wasted a good opportunitym Wasted at least three corners with crap deliveries into the box. Not a pen at the end for me, defender had his arm across his chest Edited 4 hours ago by CambridgeBWFC Quote
London Wanderer Posted 4 hours ago Posted 4 hours ago (edited) Couple of wasted opportunities from Tutu. Strong start needed after HT. Plenty of positives. Edited 4 hours ago by London Wanderer Quote
gonzo Posted 4 hours ago Posted 4 hours ago Best team we've played these by a mile. Proper unit, strong in the tackle and won't be bullied. Their 8 all over Conway who's struggled a bit with him. That 10 is a belter too, real handful. But they'll be concerned about us on the break. Need to hammering that NG he's shite. We are still in it and matching them all the way, one goal wins it. Quote
noxid Posted 4 hours ago Posted 4 hours ago Only gripe is nearly all our throw ins when we are in their half always seem to go backwards and then the ball ultimately ends up with our keeper. Quote

ianofcleveleys Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago Tutu's not doing enough this half. Ng on a yellow but hasn't tried to take him on or nick a ball past him once, to tempt him in again. Too often easy back or sideways option Quote
CambridgeBWFC Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago Dalby on, start trying to cross it at waist height!!! Quote
CambridgeBWFC Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago Come on Randall, prove everyone wrong and change this game Quote
Whitesince63 Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago Utter shite this, can’t pass don’t shoot, crossing is awful and it’s just so slow. Burstow should have had a couple so should Tutu but for shooting. Can’t see us getting more than a draw here which is obviously what Cardiff came for it’s just so slow. Quote
ianofcleveleys Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago Unless Conway's got an issue I wouldn't have changed him, his interceptions were starting attacks for us. Says a bit about how little Cissoko can be trusted when Tutu's been non existent but stays on Their subs have stepped them up more than ours Quote
