bwfc6ix Posted December 29, 2025 Posted December 29, 2025 Masters of our own downfall. We are desperate for someone creative and someone that can finish. Quote
Popular Post bwfc4ife Posted December 29, 2025 Popular Post Posted December 29, 2025 Say what you will about rotation/tiredness and all that bollocks but for me the issue is obvious. We need a settled team. I’m afraid Randall and Dalby should be nowhere near the first team. Quote

So many crosses, high, low , regular, inverted and never anyone stood in the right spot for them, or, at worst someone winning the first ball Madine style. Cant get by off goals from midfielders all season. Yet again though we pump in balls of quality once we took Dalby off. Quote

Zico Posted December 29, 2025 Posted December 29, 2025 Terrible result Cardiff, Lincoln, Bradford, Stockport, Huddersfield, Luton all won Hanging on in 6th 7 points off 2nd First home defeat highlights just how bad our away form is But it all comes down to how shit we are at taking our chances and how easily we concede Quote
Tonge moor green jacket Posted December 29, 2025 Posted December 29, 2025 Meh. Need to do much better. Not convinced about the amount of rotation at times, yet, on the other hand, the wingers are still flogged. Suspect we need a couple in come the window, and one or two sacrifices to enable it. Quote

Randall was far from our biggest issue tonight and contributed to a dominate first half, Dalby is clearly lacking confidence and i cant help thinking Burstow scores at least one of the chances which he had 1st half. However we only ever start swinging in balls when he is off the pitch, some of those balls 2nd half were they type he would feed off. Quote

JimmyRiddle Posted December 29, 2025 Posted December 29, 2025 (edited) Burstow didn't do anything when he came on. Absolutely the type.of game Aaron Collins could conjure something from nothing. Wingers were shite, formation same as always, it's back to what's our Plan B, unbelievably. Everyone else won pretty much. Very very poor Edited December 29, 2025 by JimmyRiddle Quote

Let’s see what happens after January when we can get a couple more in/out. He’s only had 1 window and a car crash to sort out He will have to get it right in this one then, as failure to go up is going to see his options limited. He knew the requirements when he came, and he will know that the club can't keep relying on some Swiss guys toying with their spare cash. Quote

Didledee Posted December 29, 2025 Posted December 29, 2025 (edited) Everyone around us win, we lose to that utter dross (1 goal vs them in 2 games and against 10 men) Dalby as to score from there being a striker from 6 yards unmarked, pathetic, game is likely won in that moment, goalie equally as bad for their goal, now we are 3 games adrift from top 2 and now our home run as gone and we are crap away. 9 and 10 in January TW. Need to ship out Randall and McAtee (tricky enough, especially with the latter out injured) and recover a few hundred grand to put towards a better striking option. Quote
Cheese Posted December 29, 2025 Posted December 29, 2025 On another day that game finishes 4-0 to us. Ref was dogshit as usual. Nothing to worry about really, and our home record had to end at some point. But let the meltdowns ensue. Quote
