only1swanny Posted January 13 Posted January 13 No passion, Somethings really off.. even Super John pointed out they won't send it down the middle. Gales and Duberry have been found out, with no other plan..  Our defence needs a new overhaul. Quote
CambridgeBWFC Posted January 13 Posted January 13 That was an utterly woeful performance, dont care about the cup, but it was a chance to build confidence. Slow, clueless and zero, passion shown. We have just fallen off a cliff, something must have gone on as they players dont look interested and Schumacher seems panicked.  All very concerning Quote
Didledee Posted January 13 Posted January 13 3 games without a goal at home, useless away from it and our squad is full of players who ain't good enough to fill in and beat the worst team in League 1 at home. that said, we have a chance at 0-0 to score from the pen spot, but once again a ref disgraces himself and there is no var to embarrass them Quote
Whitesince63 Posted January 13 Posted January 13 I honestly don’t remember seeing a more gutless inept performance from a Bolton team, there’s just not one thing that you can call a positive tonight. Somethings not right in the camp for me because the players didn’t even look arsed, when they lost the ball or passed to the opposition they just shrugged. God help us on Saturday because I just don’t know where a goals coming from. Sixteen players took that field tonight and not one of them looked interested in being there or showed a spark of interest. Quote
meanderson93 Posted January 13 Posted January 13 Anyway, losing in this trophy would usually be cause to celebrate, get out early as possible is my mantra. But, I did feel he needed that game to be better, a get right game or at least show something better than recent weeks. Not ideal, but not the end of the world. For what it's worth Wigan aren't up to much themselves, a bad 0-0 would be my bet for Saturday. Quote
BoltonPro15 Posted January 13 Posted January 13 (edited) SS has managed to get every single one of our players underperforming. Not one has improved and every single one has regressed since he's come in. That seriously takes some doing. Even the loanee's have become worse players since they started with us Edited January 13 by BoltonPro15 Quote
Arrested development Posted January 13 Posted January 13 (edited) Can't play that formation at Wigan. We had two up top and didn't create anything. The only players we have who can create are wingers. So it's gotta be 4231 and switch to two up top if needed and hope we can take our chances. Edited January 13 by Arrested development Quote

bwfc4ife Posted January 13 Posted January 13 Same problems again tonight, whole team lacking energy or desire. Nobody looked arsed and when the bingo machine came into affect second half, we looked even worse if that’s possible.  Still should have had a pen but it’s only papering the cracks.  Not sure where we go from here. I want it to work for Schuey and don’t want rid just yet but I’m starting to waver.  Same as last season, do we back him and end up with another Randall or don’t and continue to suffe Quote

waffer cup 07 Posted January 13 Posted January 13 Another shocking display, ref was as bad. So their player totally obstructs Dempsey in the box then grabs him round the neck. Nothing. What the hell has happened to us. This isn't about systems or formations, the players just aren't playing as they can. Quote

On the rare times they have, the front two haven't held it up well. We have no creative players in this team. There is nobody who can beat a man. We need a proper attacking midfielder who can beat a player and create stuff,  7 minutes ago, Arrested development said: He's an 8 not a 10. You said we have no creative players. deeane Koontz Posted January 13 Posted January 13 Gonna headbutt the wall if i see inverted wingers/wingbacks in the games coming up. Quote

He's never ever been an attacking midfielder in his entire career. He's just a midfielder. Quote
Zog1 Posted January 13 Posted January 13 Just now, Arrested development said: Who's our number 10? Any of them, Forss, Dempsey, Randell Any pass that should go to them gets sent left or right, only for our wingers to get the ball, stop and then either run or cut inside. Makes us SO one dimensional, easy to defend against. Quote

It's a disgrace. I said after Doncaster it was starting to have a whiff of Evatt's final few weeks. Maybe a bit over dramatic at the time but it's turning pretty grim now. Not sure he'll survive two defeats at Wigan and Stevenage (unless of course we don't lose them) Quote

Which as far as i can see is down totally to his tactics. Not even vaguely related to tactics. 100% related to quality of signings. Almost every SS  player is League 1 journeyman. Quote
Lostock Whites Posted January 13 Posted January 13 Honestly, Schuey & Fergal have lost a lot of credibility to me. To sign some of the lot? Jesus. I get we can't sign perfect players at this level but jesus wept. That Taylor is one of the worst players I have seen in a long long time. Even worse than any of shite we had to see in League 2. There's some decent players there too that are underperforming that is even worse and the manager is simply not getting the best out of them. The whole setup is just stinking the place out. No chemistry, nothing. We've fallen off a cliff. Quote
