freds dad Posted April 11 Posted April 11 This is now a must win game. Its where SS earns his corn. Quote

Asking for a donation a lot of folk will throw in a pocketful of shrapnel . Probably more than a quid. Quote

burnden Posted April 11 Posted April 11 These could go level on points with us if they beat us on Tuesday night 🙈 Quote
Rizlar Posted April 11 Posted April 11 Going to be a tough game seeing as we still only have a choice of 3 midfielders. Quote

desperado Posted April 11 Author Posted April 11 I like it. You have to try different things. And I’m really pleased that they are trying new/different things to grow an already brilliant fan-base. …however the reality is we already have a shit-load of kids tickets that don’t get used in mid-week home games. Ive got a couple I’ll give away for free 😂 Quote
waffer cup 07 Posted April 11 Posted April 11 Got to start ACD, if he tires 2nd half, put Apter on. Wouldn't even have Gale on the bench. I'd also give Rodrigues a startand hopefully Kenny will be fit. Quote

Ive got a couple I’ll give away for free 😂 As with virtually every midweek game, I've got a kids ticket and an U18 ticket spare 😀. Its innovative and well done to the club, but I honestly think they could do (accompanied) kids for a quid for any midweek games, league and cup. There still wouldn't be much take up over and above S/T holders, but if we're talking about growing the fanbase further what is there to lose, its not like they'd be missing out on £ thousands every midweek game. Its not a moan BTW, just an idea that would also encourage folk to go instead of watching on the box. Quote
burnden Posted April 11 Posted April 11 (edited) Read earlier that there are motorway blockages /fuel protests on Tuesday ,Wednesday and Thursday next week. Might affect (Getting To )the game. Edited April 12 by burnden Quote

desperado Posted April 12 Author Posted April 12 It’s a big game this. One thing we have done well this season, is respond after a bad result. It needs to happen again. A win on Tuesday against a potential play-off rival would be a good response to yesterday. Quote
Mounts Kipper Posted April 12 Posted April 12 Massive game this and we know Stevenage have the minerals to fight… the question is do we. Quote
Whitesince63 Posted April 12 Posted April 12 Let’s not build Stevenage up too much, they’re just a physical bunch but not really much more than that and if whoever starts for us plays to their strengths we’ll be far too good for them. They all know how important this one is and after Saturday if they’re not chomping at the bit to get out there and set things right then they should be ashamed of themselves and never pull on the White shirt again. Quote
Bertie Posted April 12 Posted April 12 Sure it’s “only” Stevenage ….. but they are a well organised outfit who are always hard to beat. Masters of the dark arts and physical (their #8 Phillips was awful at their place), so could be a very frustrating night where we need to be patient and be happy with a scrappy 1-0 or 2-1 win. One of those games with no away fans and no atmosphere which emphasises why we need to get out of this god forsaken league. Quote
