I can't remember him doing anything apart from giving the ball away which nearly led to a goal and hitting a free kick into the wallΒ

Going to need a hell of a lot better performance than that to convince me otherwise. Hopefully at Wembley πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ˜πŸ˜πŸ‘πŸ‘

Every player in a white shirt gave the ball away constantly. But he was a colossus, Sheehan. Tracked everyone made so many clearances and landed on loads of second balls to relieve the pressure. He’s another who showed a different side to his game tonight.Β

I'll enjoy watching the final on a sun bed beside a hotel pool in Albufeira

That's where I'm going in about 6 hoursΒ πŸ˜€Β  Olhos de Agua.

Back the day before Wembley.

As I said earlier, we have limped into the playoffs. But our effort seems to have lifted in the Bradford tie.

It's as if they actually realise that if they fight for it they can get promoted.

Bonham and Tutu tonight and sheehan JohnstonΒ  forigno and RR are much improved. Add to that the threat on both wings and for the first time in a while, I believe we might have enough to beat Stockport, who provide a different threat to Bradford.

Good to see, as sheehan said, that we didn't over celebrate as we did when we bt Barnsley.

Great noise from the away supporters tonight too.

How can we limp into the play-offs when we spent about 3 years in 3rd position and only dropped on the last day thanks to bad set of results.

I don't think I've ever seen a player so surprised he'd scored

Not sure about that. He wheeled away to celebrate before it even hit the back of the net.

All that mattered tonight was getting the job done, that fact that both our wide men were awful made it more difficult but we were the better team over 2 legs..... Cissoko and ACD will have their day in the sun at Wembley.

It gives me no pleasure to say he had another ineffective, frustrating game.

But does he have to start at Wembley because you never change a winning team?

It was very strange that SS left him on when he brought Dalby on, that was our worst spell of the match till he brought Simons and McAtee on to add some movement, skill and vision.

At the time I'd sooner have given RR another 10 minutes, he was the only one looking like he had a bit of time on the ball and a bit of control.Β

Never easy to get to the pace of a game like that but Simons and McAtee did well when they came on

Aye if you are Stevie Wonder....Forino put in the best defensive performance in a Bolton shirt in the last ten years

It wasn't even the best in the last weekΒ πŸ˜€Β 10 out of 10 1st leg, wasn't needed nearly as much tonight, and did more in possession on Saturday.

But its very odd he isn't really SSs first choice unless Conway is out of favour at LB.

Shout out to SS well done you deserve it!πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘

Said when he made the subs this is what managers live and die by at the time looked a fuck up taking rod off then we’re under massive pressure 10 minutes later brings the goal scorer on so should take the creditΒ

I've yet to see a game when McAtee hasn't come on and made an impact.

But so many can't see it, because he runs funny and he can't head a ball to save his life, etc.

he's like a terrier, doesn't give them a minute!

I just can't see it. I really can't. He's neat and tidy. But so if is my mum and I wouldn't play her in a deep lying midfield position either.Β I think he's a bit 'emporers new clothes'.Β

But then seen as I seem to be in a minority of 1 - I'm humble enough to admit that I'm probably wrong and the rest of the world is right 🀣

Anyway - a discussion for another night! 😁

He definitely has a part to play. He absolutely loves playing for Bolton but is wounded that so many fans don’t like him.Β

This team is far from perfect, but what it has shown time and time again is that is has the dog in them.

Whether we are down and find a way back or have to scrap it out and head everything away, they can do it.

1 more to go boys. Wembley will be like a home game for us.

Lets fucking go.

Aye, his passing, along with everyone else's, was off tonight.

But he more than made up for that by being in the right place at the right time, playing the role of a fifth defender time after time. Just what was needed tonight.

He's so much better than a lot of our fans give him credit for.

Our heartbeat and most important player ... and one of the few who won't look out of place in the Championship if we get there. IMO.

Yet weirdly out of the side when we went on our best run of the season πŸ€”πŸ€”

What you're describing is him doing his job. I thought he was OK tonight. Played his part, if unspectacularly. Nearly gave a goal away and was shite from set pieces. 6/10 max.Β

You should come and sit near me at the match wand sit with everyone fawning when he knocks a 2 yard pass back to Tutu 😁😁

Having said that - I will happily fellate him on the town hall steps if he gets the winner at Wembley.Β

Perfect 2nd leg performance. Didn't get tickets but had a great night watching it with my dad, brother and a load of mates. They did us and themselves proud tonight. Play with the confidence of the first half and our quality and superior backing at Wembley and I'll see you at Stoke away.
