tyldesley_white Posted September 18, 2011 Posted September 18, 2011 One last point relating to Festers greviences, the Klasnic sending off. Whilst rules state the obvious, the Norwich player should have also have walked for his diabolical deliberate attempt to get a fellow pro sent off. Not only is it ruining the game it also spoils it from a spectators view. Just watching spurs V Scousers and already it`s a debacle as two scousers sent off. Didn't King Kenny moan about the refs last week
birch-chorley Posted September 18, 2011 Posted September 18, 2011 Didn't King Kenny moan about the refs last week I dont think he can have any complaints today.

Carnt complain about either!
SpiritofBurnden Posted September 18, 2011 Posted September 18, 2011 It's funny how not being able to stand on a terrace, have a smoke, mingle with players in the bar, etc, only become an issue when the team you support is struggling.
SpiritofBurnden Posted September 18, 2011 Posted September 18, 2011 not even you lovely people can convince me to throw my money at this shite. We weren't trying to.
M G WHITES Posted September 18, 2011 Posted September 18, 2011 Having stood side to side with you pal on the paddock through the good times and the bad times for 2O years at Burnden i for one wont think anyless of you for sacking it,your a good lad and a loyal white,it was a honour.
jaycampbell Posted September 18, 2011 Posted September 18, 2011 Its not all doom and gloom, we have a squad thats capable of winning, yesterday first half was shocking but second half we looked better, it will be intersting to see if Kev Davies starts next week
birch-chorley Posted September 18, 2011 Posted September 18, 2011 I dont know Fester but my money is on the fact that he came to his disision in the heat of the moment pissed up after a shite result. I just cannot see a loyal bwfc fan who has been going on for so long through good times and bad throwing the towel in after a poor 6 months (results wise) in the top flight. We have come up against some of the best players in the world who have made us look shite but we have all seen us at much lower points than this. You will stick with it Fester its what we do.
Mike Hunt Posted September 18, 2011 Posted September 18, 2011 never mind two seasons ago I didn't see any of these types of posts last season say, for example, after the Newcastle game, or the Spurs one, of Brum in the FA Cup etc I find it a coincidence that it's come after two shite home defeats but you can smoke mind To be fair to some that I know who have started to go to Chorley, they started last season, and possibly before that, and the results so far haven't made the decision. Each to their own, some long standing fans being lost, the reasons shouldn't matter, the route causes need to be addressed.
Rembrandt Posted September 18, 2011 Posted September 18, 2011 Re the non-league debate, I have a Wanderers season ticket and have had for donkey's years. I go to non-league when the Whites aren't playing or I can't get to their match. It's not a matter of switching allegiance. I like to watch football and I like to get out & about somewhere. Don't know about others.

We'd have shit 'em!
Rembrandt Posted September 18, 2011 Posted September 18, 2011 First on the team sheet, Jussi second Knight third, it seems ....
gonzo Posted September 18, 2011 Posted September 18, 2011 its like deciding you dont fancy your wife anymore and shagging her younger, uglier sister.
athywhite Posted September 19, 2011 Posted September 19, 2011 Each to there own but if your really suggesting that non league football is better to watch then your off your rocker
HomerJay Posted September 19, 2011 Posted September 19, 2011 Each to there own but if your really suggesting that non league football is better to watch then your off your rocker correct.
athywhite Posted September 19, 2011 Posted September 19, 2011 its like deciding you dont fancy your wife anymore and shagging her younger, uglier sister. Well if that's the case can I shag your wife, oops sorry didn't mean that, got a bit carried away there haha
LiOC Posted September 19, 2011 Posted September 19, 2011 I know a few Wanderers that have defected to non-league- the decision for them came from hating the business of football, and everything about the Premier League and the likes rather than your team being runbbish. Fairplay mate, enjoy a bit of non-league myself-couldn't leave my beloved Wanderers though-even if they do drive me mental

Bobcat Posted September 20, 2011 Posted September 20, 2011 It is apparent that over the last 15 years we have lost a lot of support that used to frequent the terraces of Burnden...have they been replaced? 13,000 season tickets would suggest not... I include myself in this, I have been to approx 5 games over the last three years..and I will not be returning, last one was wembley and all that did was cement my lack of intrest in the game... I will always support the whites, but it doesn't come into my list of priorities any more. In fact football generally doesn't intrest me anymore...for those of you that have commented "well fuck off then" bla blah...get a grip you girls... one day you'll realise there is more to life than BWFC plc..

Each to their own and all that but the whole concept of watching a load of posties and brickies trying to play football sounds about as appealing as spending the afternoon cleaning my nads with swarfega. You wouldn't pick to go and watch a bunch of blokes play songs by Oasis down at the boozers over going to watch the real thing at the arena even though Gallagher is a bit of a dick and tickets cost more.

There's more folk at the Reebok every week than there used to be at burnden.
