Dunno about where you are but there is definitely a whiff of tit Monday going on today

Last home game of the season, always warm.

Think there’ll be lots of tits on show. Hopefully not just our fat lads.

Get it cut.

Be too long soon and will remain damp low down meaning it will be a shitty cut anyway.

Rough cut now, highish setting.

Repeat in a few days on a lower setting. Sorted.

Cheers for the advice, will do it tomorrow lunchtime on top setting then hopefully a bit lower on Wednesday before it rains again.

I did a lawn over the weekend that was really lush and high. Dry on top, but wet underneath. Even on top setting, it kept clogging the mower, and I had to keep clearing it by hand. It also results in tearing of the grass, which isn't good.

I'll do it again tomorrow and it will be bob on.

That's exactly what I did yesterday.

Debated waiting until it dried but was proper long. Still looks good even a bit longer than normal.

The "English disease" (no, not that one)- cutting lawns too short.

Leave them a bit longer and feed occasionally. They'll thank you for it.

If the wife moans, send her out to cut it.

I learned that lesson the other year. Scalped it, totally fucked it.

Ended up borrowing a verticutter and reseeding it. Was dead impressed with myself 😃

When does the wife moan? It's not Terry and June.

Having walked every day for the last 10 years or so, the thing I notice about the weather is that we seem to get more wind than hitherto.

Don’t know if this is the case, @gonzo?

Definitely is pal.

Like any other weather systems the averages as well as the extremes are getting greater.

Rising sea temps spazzing up atmospheric pressure and traditional cylces.

We seem to have had a lot of east winds here over the past few months. We get used to a generic west wind over this way so its really noticeable when the wind changes.
