I actually poach fish in milk but that’s for my peerless fish pie that I occasionally make.

And I deprive myself of nothing. Unfortunately for my liver.

Biggest wildfire the UK has ever recorded was raging north of Inverness the other day. Just spent a weekend canoeing the Spey near Aviemore. Absolutely stunning weather but it’s too dry. Was like the South of France.
