smithills_gent Posted January 26, 2013 Posted January 26, 2013 It should have been called off.Several bus routes are suspended round town, anyone driving has to dig their car out, the M6 currently has 3 lanes closed at Horwich and we don't gain anything by playing the match today.Half our lot who have bought tickets won't be bothering in this.There's currently no bus service from Harwood/Breightmet into Bolton because its too dangerous but BWFC have "no weather worries!!" Just need dig car out of drive and we're on 519 - not serving Johnson Fold 501 - normal route to Vernon St then operating same route as 519 to Moss Bankway in both directions So basically Chorley Old Road is clear but the buses aren't using any of the side roads in that part of town.3 people have tried and given up as a bad job getting their car off my street this morning.The only fooker who has got off the street was in a Ranger Rover.I'm telling thee folk won't be travelling across town in this.
