Gevrey Chambertain...

I guess you've just got to hope it was the cheap shit @ £21.00 per bottle. In fact, just tell yourself that.

And then ask the former owner of the Captain Morgan if he/she knew what it was and did they enjoy it.

If they knew what they were getting and giving you a £14 bottle of rum for, wipe your dick around the rim of his/her tea cup.

Youngest bought me a bottle of 19 crimes but been too ill to even look at it

What’s the story with it? I know it’s on this thread somewhere far back but can’t be arsed scrolling back. Are they all the same wine with a different label or are there different wines? Quick google and I got bored by adverts

If the only thing you could drink all week was one bottle of red and you could spend up to £15 on it what would you go for?

Probably a reasonable Argentinian Malbec

I’m a Sainsbury’s shopper and they a decent value Malbec in the Santa Julia Reserva (not the standard one). Normally £10, although on offer at the moment at £8 a bottle.

Ended up with summat that says it's a Trivento Private Reserve 2018 Malbec, should have been 10 but was on offer on 8.

Not drunk much red over my lifetime but can report it tastes nice and you seem to drink it more slowly than a white.

What about Lambrini? Would that be alright if I bought it to BoltonDivers Keys in a bowl dinner party?

Posh, expensive, pop

White wine just doesn’t reach the parts

Before I had to pack it in, I'd started getting into whites more. Having done a number of English/Welsh vineyards, really developed an appreciation of the top quality wine being produced. Fruity, crisp, dry etc.

I don’t drink white, but a friend who goes through oceans of it and knows his stuff tells me that there are some English white wines good enough to rival anything around the world.

Climate change has some benefits.
