His legs go like the clappers but he isnt fast. Looks a good player to have in the squad for times such as this when there are a few out of form. He even admitted he'd got away with the penalty shout so fair play.

I don't think he is fast but he can regularly get a decent cross in the box which is what we have been lacking. Credit to Dougie because I think a lot of us thought he maybe had grabbed these three loans more in desperation than anything else but McNaughton and Feeney particularly have done well so far

I thought it was very telling that Freedman chose to praise the character of his loan signings over anything else in the Sky interview after the match.

He mentioned something bout taking individuals out and then looked like he knew he'd said something maybe e shouldn't have

N'Gog and Eagles appear most obvious "problem" candidates but you never know

I can understand the chungy abuse, he was crap last season and so far this.

Eagles on the other hand was very good last season and has Been injured for most of this. He then scored a 25 yarder against derby on his return.

He's not in form but he's a very good player at this level and will be important for us this season.

Chungy and Ngog can fuck off though.

Eagles plays for Eagles.

Fair enough, on occasion, he's probably had to.

But Dougie wants a team.

That's how I see it.

And let's have it right - at 28, if he was really all that, he'd have a bit more than Burnley and Bolton under Coyle on his CV.

Maybe tomski was right about his disliking of eagles after all?

When I say disliking I mean totall undying hatred by the way.

Ha, the fact we had a wide man playing for the team only confirmed my thoughts yesterday. Refreshing to watch a team of lads fighting for the shirt.

Well summed up, for all the goals he's scored I am convinced we'd of lost more goals because of him balancing him out as an actual negative.

On his game, like Cardiff away last season, Eagles is unplayable at this level, and ends up being double marked, it's unfortunate they just take a player off Chungy as he's shit.

Leap years are more frequent than him having one of his good games. Edited by tomski

The most frustrating thing about eagles is you know how good he can be.

So when he tries something too fancy and fucks it up it's even more annoying. but it's his balls/stupidity to try those things that make him such an asset.

If he played as well as he can do all the time he'd still be in the red of manyoo.

It's great to see a winger actually play on the wing, with pace taking on the full back and then whipping a good cross in, something we haven't had for a good few years and something Beckford needed, lets hope Chungy and Eagles have taken note

Every decent team we've had since I watched Bolton included wingers, it's the Bolton way of playing football and with an up and at them attitude, don't think that should ever change.

He's quick enough to get by most left backs in this league and, as he showed with the cross that led to the 2nd goal, he's one of those who doesn't need to make much room to whip one in

He's got a short sharp burst that's for sure, also liked his 30 yard run through the middle except for his final ball.
