jayjayoghani Posted April 8, 2014 Posted April 8, 2014 apparently and this links to something carlos posted from game 10 to date, we're about a point behind what reading have achieved i'd prefer it was a point behind leicester but it does suggest that we might not be far off a team that can push for the play offs speaking of leicester, interesting interview with Pearson http://www.theguardian.com/football/2014/apr/07/leicester-premier-league-promotion-credit-nigel-pearson Pearson returned for a second spell as manager in November 2011 and Leicester's approach since then has been much more prudent. The introduction of financial fair play has meant it has had to be but in those two-and-a-half years Pearson has worked hard to get the big-earners off the wage bill and streamline the squad to around 25 players, who include academy products Adam Smith and Tom Hopper. Pearson said: "People want to talk about this season in isolation but it is not actually about that. It is about what has been done over the last two and a half years "One of the biggest jobs, and the hardest jobs, when you take over a club is to get rid of what you don't want, or what you don't need. It is difficult these days to offload those players – the players who don't have any value whether that is financially or to the team. remind you of anyone? Pearson in charge in since Nov 11, Freedman since Oct 12. that said two of the players they've got rid of, those of no value to their team, have been offloaded on us. Mills & Beckford. Albeit Mills by the previous Einstein. Quote

Matt Lofthouse Posted April 8, 2014 Posted April 8, 2014 Another cracking result. Love playing yarkshire teams, roll on Barnsley. Quote

ex_midlandwhite Posted April 8, 2014 Posted April 8, 2014 Does the fact Dougie rotates his squad a lot in the first half of the season make us stronger than others in the second half of the season? Big challenge to have a semi decent start next season Quote
L/H White Posted April 8, 2014 Posted April 8, 2014 This Liam Trotter abuse has got to stop (it won't) Jeering him off / booing him on. Pathetic and shows up the worst elements of Bolton fans. Wouldn't hear stuff like that at Anfield etc, disgrace Quote
jonnycooper Posted April 8, 2014 Posted April 8, 2014 Hear it anywhere if the player is not putting a shift in!!! Quote

no balls Posted April 8, 2014 Posted April 8, 2014 What's this about a secret kit? It's a new concept in foobtall kits. To you and I it looks the same, but to super fans there's special super messages light up on the kit. A bit like those noises that only teenagers and dogs can hear. Quote
