BoltonPro15 Posted June 19, 2014 Posted June 19, 2014 Car park for 80. Mosque has room for 1000 people. That's 12 people per Datsun. Alot do live local though. Wouldnt exactly say there a lot that drive there but those that do park like theres no rules. Plus they do seem to manage to get about 8 in an Avensis Quote

I do worry seeing massively over crowded cars. Not just the asian community I might add. What the fuck do they think will happen if they are in a crash? (other than claim compo) Quote
Ghana White Posted June 19, 2014 Posted June 19, 2014 They're building a mosque in the middle of a muslim area.. You'd think it was a free country people wanting to practice their faith.. I can't see the problem. Quote

I can't see the problem. Me neither. It's hardly a fucking world heritage site they are building it on either and it's quite a nice looking building. The immediate area is a write off from an integration point of view anyway (from what I remember 10 years ago) so whats the issue? Quote

Youri McAnespie Posted June 19, 2014 Posted June 19, 2014 I have every confidence we'll always prevail... These folk who think it's the beginning of the end can't have much faith in the British character and spirit. Live and let live will soon enough turn the moment we think liberties are being taken. Smiffs Posted June 19, 2014 Posted June 19, 2014 Live and let live is great if you don't live there. I did about 2 months in AB while we sorted out where we are now, and I simply could not live there among them. Individually there are many good decent folk, collectively they are in the stone age. I'd sooner live in a tent in a field than among them. Quote
only1swanny Posted June 19, 2014 Posted June 19, 2014 We did our bit for the community yesterday.. ended up with me screaming " its a fucking rat" at a piece of cloth that was caught on my foot.... didn't really go down well.. I HATE stereotypes...but mentioned yesterday to wife that the job would be more work than what I've quoted.. low and behold there were a lot more items and multi pickup points.. Its never straight forward, either that or you get them bartering with you afterwards.. I don't do a lot of work for Asians, and particular not for Muslims, aside for during Ramadam, where all the Muslim Man and Vans don't work ( for clear reasons), however every time its more work than it should be. Its all part of the integration issues that there are, The couple yesterday, (she was covered up) were no different and clearly British, they seemed nice people, but I cant get my head round why the women bide by these outdated rules, such as covering up around blokes.. (we have had Muslim women hiding behind curtains and getting kids to sort out their movals in the past) Muslims are meant to donate to charity, which comes under the five pillars of Islam.. its normally about 2.5% of their wealth, and this is how these places are bought. Empire Electrical (I think it was called) went under years back, and the Muslim community have clearly been biding their time and saving up. Quote
Youri McAnespie Posted June 19, 2014 Posted June 19, 2014 I lived seven years on the edge of Daubhill. Yes, there were complete fucking arseholes of asian origin, they was however, during those seven years, far more meither from white scum from the estate off Swan Lane... Anyhow, we eventually moved, we didn't go out socially for two years, cut our drinking, gave up smoking, cancelled Cable and Wireless, ate pasta nearly every meal and grafted and begged, borrowed and stopped short of stealing - we saved every penny and moved... We also split up more or less straight away after the move... But we moved. Quote
