think folk are getting carried away here.

if he keeps us up he's done well.

When is the last time we even had chance to think about get carried away

To be fair im not expecting a miracle but im looking forward to the journey again which if Lennon can get the players to do the same it will go a long way to starting an upward curve for the club hopefully.

I'm definitely getting carried away. Even had a "butterflies in the stomach" moment when I read some of his comments on the Bolton News website. I haven't felt this excited about football since Owen Coyle took over...

This is the best news for the club since we signed Anelka.

His interview with the Bolton News suggests we are in for a great few years.

If we get behind this fella it could be the Rioch era all over again - with even higher stakes. The structure is there - that's why we're in debt.

I'm well excited. It's what we've  been waiting for for seven and a half years.

Neil Lennon's Super White Army!

Very pleased with the appointment. Not really interested in his politics or religious views more his ability to bang a few heads together and get the best out of an albeit very average squad who have under performed. If Lennon is unpopular good - the most successful managers generally are. I care only about BWFC.

All managerial appointments are a gamble but I am excited and optimistic about this one. If it does go tits up then so be it but something had to be done. I would like to see the back of Gartside but it seems he is here for the foreseeable.........so lets give him and NL our full backing and perhaps we can do enough to retain our Championship status. That will do for starters.

Further plusses - numbers should be swelled at St Andrews and for the Brentford game whilst we should attract more media attention and maybe further Sky TV coverage.

My only negative thought is I cannot figure where the money is coming from to finance the deal?

I'd have been very happy with Brown or Hughton or Mowbray (but not Mackay - call me old fashioned, but racism and sexism aren't my bag), but I think this appointment really sends a signal. Whether people like the fact or not, Celtic are a massive club with a truly global fan base of many millions. The fact that a manager of theirs, who's just won 3 titles, performed wonders in the Champions League etc has chosen us right now, bottom of the league, without a pot to piss in etc, should make us all very proud...unless you've got some weird Rangers shit going on. For those who have, and can't get over it, please walk away now...you've shown where your loyalties lie (and we know how much being 'loyal' seems to matter to you). Ibrox is made for your bigotry. We're BWFC and we do things differently round here. COYFWM and NLSWA! See you at St Andrews!

Who gives a fuck? We support a football club, not a business. I've never understood why fans want to know the ins and outs of the finances. Unless you're a share-holder, what does it matter?

Let the sad fucks get on with it. If this appointment helps us back to where we belong and it gets rid of pricks whose only contribution to the BWFC cause is wearing a Rangers shirt and singing 'no surrender' at Wanderers games then two birds, one stone.

There fucking disturbed. Ones added me and is now in boxing me. I feel like I'm being groomed.

Had a couple of messages after I posted the lennon poppy picture on an official club post where folk were slagging lennon.

They just got blocked, not worth the hassle.

Never properly understood any of this sectarian shit in football. All I can gather is a load of thick cunts need to grow up.

When you see that they cant even spell Fenian correctly, it shows the level of retard we are faced with.

Obviously disappointed with this appointment but, and it's a big but, if he works wonders and saves us this season then hopefully my visions of a fractured support will prove to be completely wrong.

As others have said, BWFC comes before all else in football matters and to wish our new manager anything other than outstanding success would be extreme treachery in my eyes.

If we are all backslapping at the end of the season rather than posting anti manager shiyte as recently directed at our former manager, few will be more satisfied than me. There will, hopefully, be an instant spike in form after the appointment. Let's see what happens in the crucial stages in December. Hopefully, all onwards and upwards.

Honest question - why?

So you keep saying.

If you can't understand the simple correlation between finances & what you're watching....

Tbh, I can't be arsed explaining.
