Mounts Kipper Posted September 26, 2013 Posted September 26, 2013 Elche v Real Madrid on SS3. They still a feeder club to us? Went to Elche when I was on holiday the city has 200,000 palm trees and that's today's useless fact. Quote
Traf Posted September 26, 2013 Posted September 26, 2013 It's only about 10 miles from Alicante airport. I went for a mooch a couple of months back. Quote
Jol_BWFC Posted September 26, 2013 Posted September 26, 2013 It's only about 10 miles from Alicante airport. I went for a mooch a couple of months back. Now called "Alicante-Elche" airport I think? I'm getting a flight there in 4 hours, so will confirm... Quote
Carlos Posted September 26, 2013 Posted September 26, 2013 Thinly veiled I'm going on holiday post. Quote
tarian1979 Posted September 26, 2013 Posted September 26, 2013 Went to two Elche games last season when over their playing golf with a mate. Was over there a few weeks ago with intention of going the valladolid game but they moved it to monday and i was flying back that day. Gutted for them last night - Ramos should of been sent off, the free kick for madrids first was dubious at best, 92nd min equaliser only to the ref to play 90s over the 3 mins injury time and give madrid a penalty that looked more a foul on the elche defender. Bent ref Quote
Kane57 Posted September 26, 2013 Posted September 26, 2013 Now called "Alicante-Elche" airport I think? I'm getting a flight there in 4 hours, so will confirm... Flew there from Blackpool the other week - tidy airport at Alicante, like. Just mind the baggage carousel Quote
Carlos Posted September 26, 2013 Posted September 26, 2013 Last game in Spain I watched was Atletico v Huelva. It was 1-1 from two blatant dives when someone punched the ball into the net to make it 2-1. I gave up then. Now I watch Portuguese where the refs award random penalties to Benfica and Porto. Quote
Zico Posted September 26, 2013 Posted September 26, 2013 thought this was a bit shit on WHU's part - "come and watch city" not only that, check out the prices - fuck that Quote
EyesRight Posted September 26, 2013 Posted September 26, 2013 (edited) thought this was a bit shit on WHU's part - "come and watch city" not only that, check out the prices - fuck that From £52... When I see stuff like that it cheers me up that we are in the championship, if we went up I'd probably only do 4 or 5 aways where as I do most now. Prices £30 and above really put me off. Possibly a selfish view but I'd happily stay in the championship if we play good football, with a decent cup run every few years, play offs, trips to Wembley and possibly yo-yo-ing. The premier league only improved the atmosphere at home games but Leeds, Sheff Weds, Blackburn and Blackpool bring enough to provide a bit of that. Edited September 26, 2013 by EyesRight Quote
gonzo Posted September 26, 2013 Posted September 26, 2013 The premier league only improved the atmosphere at home games but Leeds, Sheff Weds, Blackburn and Blackpool bring enough to provide a bit of that. See that's worse bit for me,in the prem or in this league. 4,000 of the fuckers singing in my lughole whilst I'm sat in silence. I like it nice and peaceful. Quote
Traf Posted September 26, 2013 Posted September 26, 2013 . Just mind the baggage carousel yes, those cases come flying up that ramp. Quote
HomerJay Posted September 26, 2013 Posted September 26, 2013 thought this was a bit shit on WHU's part - "come and watch city" not only that, check out the prices - fuck that Could have been worse. At least they have a west Ham player in the photo Quote
enzo gambaro Posted September 26, 2013 Posted September 26, 2013 Alonso on for Pasqual after 35 minutes in San Siro. Listening out for Garrp's reaction. Quote
Zico Posted September 26, 2013 Posted September 26, 2013 Just tuned in, in 87th min, saw him balls up a clearance Quote
tyldesley_white Posted September 26, 2013 Posted September 26, 2013 Just tuned in, in 87th min, saw him balls up a clearance Always said he was shit Quote
enzo gambaro Posted September 26, 2013 Posted September 26, 2013 Did okay, albeit with a couple of ropey moments he got away with. He put a great ball across the box for Fiorentina's goal. Alas, it all went to shit a bit not too long after. Quote
tomski Posted September 27, 2013 Posted September 27, 2013 James Vaughan is starting to deliver. 2 great strikes albeit 1 wrongly disallowed. Quote
radcliffe white Posted September 27, 2013 Posted September 27, 2013 Fuller is a useful player for Blackpool Quote
