jayjayoghani Posted March 28 Posted March 28 I can't remember Foden having a good game for England despite the caps. Palmer for me if a choice. Nearly certain Foden hid from the Switzerland penalty shoot out. He got subbed near the end for TAA. Who did take one (and it was probably the best of the lot). We cant have people scared of failure at the World Cup. Quote

Fodens barely played for City this season, he'll probably miss out. Imagine saying that a couple of seasons ago. 25 minutes ago, jayjayoghani said: I can't remember Foden having a good game for England despite the caps. Palmer for me if a choice. L/H White Posted March 28 Posted March 28 (edited) Palmer also fairly average Dropped off massively since the pens dried up and a few knocks Bit of fraud really Edited March 28 by L/H White Quote
deeane Koontz Posted March 28 Posted March 28 (edited) Foden has nearly 50 caps for England and has done nowt of note in all of them. The most memorable thing he did was dying his hair for them euros a few years back Edited March 28 by deeane Koontz Quote
L/H White Posted March 28 Posted March 28 Saka another who'll be very lucky if he starts Below average season Quote

For me, he's not been in great form at all, just happened to get 3 pens to take at Wolves 😀 I love watching him but something missing this year, same as Foden. And Bellingham, and Saka. Even Rogers lately. Eze well ahead of them currently, also Gordon and Gibbs White, but form and fitness will change in 2 months. Bottom line is we don't know who'll be on form for the couple of games in the knockouts that actually matter, not unlike Bolton, we're all just guessing about who'll have an impact game to game. Zico Posted March 28 Posted March 28 Read somewhere that Palmer is homesick and can't settle in London, Fair enough Foden can't use that excuse like Quote

Foden is believed to have confidence issues as was groomed to be as good as KDB and David Silva. Quote
gonzo Posted March 28 Posted March 28 I'm watching Blackpool v Burton in a caravan in Flookburgh. If anyone thinks we are bad they need to watch this. Two absolutely fucking awful teams and the standard is so bad. Quote

We managed to concede 7 goals and only scored 5, shows how frustrating its been this season because that's the standard of opposition that have kept us away from the top 2. And that's without adding Doncaster, Port Vale, Rotherham, Northampton and Mansfield. Quote

Unfortunately there are 3 worse vale Rotherham are gone snd Exeter will join them . at the other end results are going as expected getting tighter for the play offs nothing decided for us can see it going to the final game Quote

Definitely probably need 3 wins from 7 if we can’t get that then we don’t deserve to be in them we need a good Easter if we loose both then 3 wins out of 5 will start looking difficult a draw at Plymouth and a win to Stockport would set it up nicely Edited March 28 by Farnywhite Quote

Johnnyrotten Posted March 28 Posted March 28 Blackpool fans, players and Evatt celebrating like they've won promotion. No L1 team scored away from home and in the L2 3pm KOs nobody won away or scored 2. Some cracking goals scored from distance, we seem to lack that skillset without CBT and ACD. Quote

Sadly they are showing enough form to stay up. Equally sadly so are Wigan in their home fixtures. We need to be out of League 1. Quote

Beating Wigan twice this season were the main highlights, to date. Beating Exeter twice hardly gets the pulse racing, and we'll be adding the likes of Bromley, Cambridge and Salford next season. Whilst not a historical rivalry there is something fun about sticking it to the "class of 92" twats Quote
Johnnyrotten Posted March 28 Posted March 28 Just a mention for the National League title race. Rochdale have been top all season and have a ridiculous 98 points from 41 games. With a couple of minutes left today York were top for the first time, then 2 goals in the 89th and 97th minutes from Devante Rodney and Ian Henderson restored their 3 point lead. 5 games left. Last one is Rochdale v York! York have a better GD so would go up if they beat them if results are matched in the other 4. One of them could get 108 points and lose in the play offs. Quote
