SteveRogers Posted February 5, 2015 Posted February 5, 2015 Drove past SKD, who was walking to Bloomfield Road to watch the game in October 2013. Stopped and put my window down to say hi - thankfully he replied. Then had to reverse down the road to ask him where I could park because I don't know Blackpool that well. He pointed me to the town centre, so I followed his direction and found a 2 hour free parking zone. I was able to buy a burger because of him. Nice guy. Shame about the burger. Quote

SnoopJohnnyJohn Posted February 5, 2015 Posted February 5, 2015 Sold SKY tv to Robbie Elliott when he moved to Bolton (I worked at Comet at the time). He lived in one of those posh estates just off Chorley New Road - Holly Dene Drive if I remember correctly. Nice chap actually. Broke his leg not long after, that SKY tv must have been useful Quote

SatanGreavsie Posted February 5, 2015 Posted February 5, 2015 I remember late 70s Gerald Sinstadt was outside Burnden by the tv truck and a few of us tried to engage in some sort of conversation. He just mumbled a few expletives and strolled off, breaking wind very forcibly in the process. Probably went for a wank in the van. Quote

Barnstoneworth White Posted February 5, 2015 Posted February 5, 2015 Stood in the queue for Vex at Alton Towers some years ago now with wife and kids when Shaun Wright Philips, his brother and their 2 girlfriends rolled up queuing for same ride. I got talking to the 2 birds and finished up saying that I'd take a photo of the 4 of them together. SWP and Bradley reluctantly obliged and they passed me their camera which was a relic with no pre-view screen thing. I focused on the girls tits (both 36c) and wonder to this day what they thought when they eventually saw the picture :-) Quote

darrener Posted February 6, 2015 Posted February 6, 2015 Decorated Carl fogartys house a few years back he was a top bloke and his wife Michaela was well fit. Also did some work for his mum and dad who argued constantly ! They unsurprisingly divorced not long after. Quote
oggybwfc Posted February 6, 2015 Posted February 6, 2015 Carl Fogarty came out with one of the best "One liners" I have ever heard. Just before he won the Superbike championship He said, "It ain't over till the, Oh sod it start singing Michaela" Quote
Ani Posted February 6, 2015 Posted February 6, 2015 Seasoned traveller and I sat behind micheal Vaughan at old Trafford (football) when we won 1-0, his missus was pissing herself at our childish excitement. Think ST tried to arrange to meet him in Oz for the ashes, but I might have imagined that. Quote
