Can't believe so many are anti Dion. Would be worried if he left. Not convinced that Vic is more prolific in front of goal so unless a championship type goalscorer is incoming (and which team wants to lose one of those players with the window about to shut) then I really hope he stays.

If they both left , we have a front 2 of Collins and McAtee . I can live with that , just need a decent back up .

We’d certainly miss him if he did go, he adds a different element n attack to all the others. My problem with him is that he’s a loner and not strike partner material and doesn’t really link in with any of our other forwards. I’d be reluctant to see him go though. I may get pelters for it but I think we’re missing Bod?

I agree 100%

I'm not comparing the ability of McAtee/Collins with the great Nicola Anelka, but I think Anelka took 11 league games to get off the mark, didn't he?

Oh, and I think Collins has credit in the bank after last season.

I think McAtees been just fine as a 10 come 8. Plenty of quick through balls and shit loads of tackling and tenacity.

Collins is just fine.

I wouldn't have Bod lacing their bleedin boots.

tbh, I agree. I’m just sick and tired of having possibly the best squad in the league (attacking wise) and failing to even register shots on target.

a front 3 of Charles, Collins and McAtee anywhere else would be lethal.

Would love to see them in a 4 3 3 (attacking) 4 5 1 (defending) system. He's married to having 3 centrebacks and wingbacks though.  Reckon it'll give them more freedom with a solid midfield behind them.

Aye as @deane koontzalludes 3 up top is fine with a 4-3-3 or other variations.

You can't lose a midfielder by playing 3 forwards and also lose a midfielder by playing 3 centre backs as well.

You're asking way too much of the wing backs and 2 remaining midfielders.

Especially if one of those midfielders is glued to back line as a holder.

Its either one or the other for me.

I find myself wincing everytime McAtee gets tackled or goes in for them with the pack of tic tacs he has for shinpads 🥴

Some reckless challenges in this league

He's got a cracking set of pins on him, bit like Jack Grealish's and I don't fancy blokes either.

I have heard Evatt is resting him because Brentford want him as the new Ivan Toney once they sell the real Ivan Toney.

Liverpool taking Chiesa from Juve for 10mil.

What a cracking bit of business that is

How come Juve want rid of him? Seems a decent player.

Not been the same since his injury. New manager, new signings and different way of playing.

But he prefers 4-3-3. He's said so.
