Blondi
Wouldn't be surprised if Wilson has now played his last game for us.

Blondi
Pay him up and free up a spot? Think we've still got 1 spot available, but the player will have to be unattached, that's the hard part, finding a player that isn't weeks away from being up to fitness. Site Supporter Tonge moor green jacket Posted February 7, 2017 Site Supporter Share Posted February 7, 2017 Funny, this time last year most folk would have been cheering! Anyhow big loss. Surely must give a youngster a chance unless Thorpe can play there. Mustn't waste vela or derik there.

Site Supporter Tonge moor green jacket Posted February 7, 2017 Site Supporter Share Posted February 7, 2017 Dervite? Hmmmm. Give a young enthusiastic kid a chance. Not sure dervite would be up for it. If we end up falling short, its more likely to be a lack of goals rather than Wilson's absence. At least a youngster would have the benefit of some experience which could be invaluable next season once the end of contracts have gone. Moderators Casino Posted February 7, 2017 Moderators Share Posted February 7, 2017 I'm not sure we can 'play a kid' Suppose it depends if we can play folk from outside the 23? Man squad Fwiw, after a good spell, Vela has gone backwards We have more numbers up front, now, so it's him to RB for me

Blondi
Forgot about Vela playing right back, looks like we'll have to if we don't bring in a player before Walsall, which looks likely. I'd imagine Henry will probably take Vela's place in the attacking mid position.

Take Hunt Off
Agree not Derik at RB he's had enough punishment there , also Dervite ? he would be slower than an oil tanker . Vela to move back , we should have enough going forward now thonly worry is our two most effective partnerships (when we were playing well ) are now kaput ie Wilson/Ameobi & Taylor/Clough Think Parkinson has got his work cut out, just hoping the new lads have some pace & goals in them , not holding my breath though. Ex Wigan from wiki https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Reece_Wabara Wabara later said that his ownership of the company hindered his football prospects, claiming that clubs wouldn't pay him what he thought he deserved because they knew that he had other income trust us Reece, our paltry offer has got cock all to do with your other business interests
