No worries, it is definitely a factor, I read an interesting article (interesting might be a stretch tbh) about how parties have a natural life cycle in power and then people want change, acts well to keep politics 'fresh'. The Brexit election that Boris won created a ripple that gave the Tories extra time in office and with the big majority has caused them more problems for them in the long run.

Politically you and I will always be miles apart but I think a strong Tory party is just as important as I thought we needed a strong Labour Party instead of the Corbyn years. But the current crop of Tories are shamefully bad with the odd notable exception.

There is not one thing in that post that I can take issue with.

The fact you think "Sunak and his ilk" are centrist show how far you've drifted from reality.

About 9,500 miles apparently.

Suella Braverman - who some on here wanted as a leader - has written an article in the Times this weekend where she explains that the best way to dig yourself out of a hole, is to keep digging.

Wanted. Her. As. Leader.

I see Galloway and his Workers Party have now brought their sectarianism over this way

Oh good

Make sure the local football teams don’t get involved.

They booted all that nonsense out of Glasgow and now people from England can go and just enjoy the high quality football without having to worry about religious division ruining the day.

Contrary to earlier reports, it appears the Tories have, in fact, lost the West Midlands mayoralty

And over 69,000 people voted for Akhmed Yakoob in that election

Fucking grim

Did you get twatted by a Rangers or Celtic fan?

You have an obsession with both teams

Not obsessed enough to go and watch them.

I will admit to be fascinated by people who hate politics in football then spending fortunes to go and watch teams who’s entire fan base are obsessed with politics in football.

One of life’s great hypocrisies.

You really do need to let it go though. Nobody else seems bothered but you bring the Glasgow Rangers/miami thing up at every opportunity. Leave them to it

These are the same fans who had a meltdown over players taking the knee. No politics in football they said 😄

The person posting this is wrong about Ali ever being in charge of policing, but I wonder what the woman with the green rosette must've been privately thinking

Incredible naivety

You haven’t got an England. You lost that when you swore loyalty to another country.
