Iโ€™m afraid Iโ€™m not for letting those who pushed for this get off the hook so easily. They have what they wanted, itโ€™s nowย time that decision was rightly held to account. Iโ€™m not doing anything to scupper it, and never have done, but there has been claims of sovereignty, more control, being held back from opening up to the world...ok, fair enough - now deliver.ย

More money for the NHS, more money for schools, affordable housing, greater business opportunities....more fish! Come on lads, letโ€™s have at you - I want to see the strategy, not platitudes, not slogans. Its your time to prove this was all worth it.

I hope the people you believed in knew what they were doing. I hope you did.

I'm curious as to how you intend on holding folk to account if it goes tits up ?

Are you going to put their names on social media, line them up against a wall or maybe make them write 500 lines saying they've been silly ? Rather Draconian isn't it ?

What will you do if it doesn't go tits up and we thrive ? Will you be having the same childish tantrum against folk like Merkel, Juncker and Barnier etc ?

Those folk have already admitted the EU is in decline, faces challenges and is in need of urgent reform. The latest figures aren't exactly encouraging in the Eurozone are they ? I'll admit, France's sluggishย performance of late surprised me,ย  the EU is not the land of milk and honey.

Bookies already taking bets on the next to have a Brexit style referendum. Take your pick from France, Italy, Spain, Ireland, Poland and Hungary for the favourite. Folk have had enough.

I've said it on here consistently,ย  the EU in its present form will not be in existence within a decade or two. It will be a much smaller community and under a different guise.

Iโ€™m not holding anyone to account, youโ€™ve done that to yourselves.ย

Who exactly do you think you are ?

You haven't got a clue what the future holds, just like we all haven't.

If you had, you'd be a billionaire, and with due respect , not doing what you do now for a living.

Neither do you, gobby chops,ย at least have the courage of your convictions. If this doesnโ€™t work out, own your mistake.

Come on, this is the moment youโ€™ve been banging on about, the spotlight is shining right on you. Enjoy it!

Oh yes, I will own it if it goes wrong.ย

Let's see your big mouth offer congratulations in the future when it doesn't go wrong.

You voted on a feeling, you ignore anything that resembles a fact.

Youโ€™d be a McCarthy supporter, a party loyalist come the raisingย of the Iron Curtain, a Luddite in 1779. Youโ€™re not a new phenomenon, youโ€™re an age old trope, youโ€™reย not a visionary, youโ€™re anย isolationist masquerading as a patriot. The worst thing is you still canโ€™t articulate theย feeling which drives you, which is why itโ€™s about as much use as discussing this with a ย pebble.

Iโ€™m not fussed if itโ€™s worse, better or same. Just wanted to leave.

So you're not bothered if we end up worse off? How can you be not be fussed of we end up in a worse place/position than we are today? I presume its because you plan to retire abroad, hence you don't really give a fuck what happens to the UK

Of course it will - Iโ€™ve not got any problem with beingย proven wrong.

Good to hear.

Going to back to something from earlier, what's your thoughts on the Eurozone growth stalling now ?

Do you personally think it's going to improve ? Some of the French decline is being attributed to the strikes over there, but they're showing no signs whatsoever of abating. Last week saw 1200 lawyers toss their robes away in disgust, the week before saw similar with a large number of doctors.

This week has seen the fire brigade joining in again, along with the farmers......both sets of protestors viciously assaulted by the police. Yet this is barely mentioned by the media here.

It's actually quite scary and sinister what is happening, and like I say, no signs whatsoever of the huge strikes abating.

Hahaha

A pebble

My sides. Fucking hellย

A pebble......

What kind of pebble? Some are fairly flat and of use for skimming accross a lake in an impressive manner. Others are fairly round and of use for throwing as far as possible.

We need more detail.

I think thereโ€™s a solid helping of anger in there from the shrinking of the empire.

The patriotism is always more pronounced in folk who are, or are planning on,ย spendingย significant time overseas.

They see themselves as defenders of the flag. The queens men. At any cost. All whipped into a frenzy by a foamy-mouthed tabloid media that needs to dig its lurid fingers into the minds of its core audience.
