Didn’t work for Theresa

So condemn folk before they’ve had chance to deliver yes? So In your company you get candidates in think yeah this guy/girl is superb. Offer them the job. Then tell them their shit before they’ve started? You see my point

Woosh!

You manage to be wrong and miss the point entirely in one fell swoop.

I think I’m going back to leaving you lot to it. Enjoy the echo chamber

In or out, given their handling of pretty much every problem they've faced, does anyone have faith that this lot can make a success of the negotiations?

Doesn't make a difference if they do or not. Some will find fault irrespective.

In the meantime, EU people will keep going on about a,b and c not being negotiable. Our lot will refuse to cross re lines x,y and z.

The games will continue and a deal will be reached. Quite simply because its what both parties really want. Some fine detail may need completing beyond the deadline, but an agreement will be reached.

I’m not sure

I’m not sure if the EU are smart enough to overcome their philosophical issues; pour thingy les autres

I think they will. Some of the disagreements between member states over their covid bailout fund could resurface if pragmatism was tossed into the bin.

The perfect example.

Guaranteed to be on here with some moan or other as soon as details of the agreement are released.

No chance of looking at the package as a whole and making a balanced assessment of it.

I will take any deal on it's merits but I'm not convinced and neither is Duck Egg.

I'm not!  There seems a real dearth of articulate, principled politicians across all parties these days.  I've never known a time like it.  It would amaze me if anyone had confidence in this current lot negotiating a good deal, after the last few months of blunders and u turns.

I agree and it is quite worrying.  Anything I say of this nature and I'm accused of being unpatriotic, unwilling to objectively assess any deal (can't do that yet anyway) or just a screeching moaner.  Apparently we have to sit tight and it will be ok because it has to be for both parties. Well I'm looking at the negotiators and government on our side and have zero confidence they can achieve a good deal for Britain.

So what happened to oven ready?

We all realised the Billy Bunter is a lying fucker yet?

The 'oven ready deal' Johnson claimed to have in the run up to the election was always just the Withdrawal Agreement.

In fact all you’ve done is highlight what a set of cunts our government is. Doubt that’s what you intended. Bravo sir

In your opinion fella. I've highlighted what a cunt he is, but you won't admit that

He made a mistake and resigned.

Cummings made a mistake and the whole Government went into denial.

Not your best work

Aye, quite a humble apology as well.  He decided not to invent a story about needing to check his eyesight out at the golf club.
