Aye. Was just thinking that myself.

What the fuck is that supposed to be showing?

I'd like to think I'm a reasonably intelligent bloke, but I'll be fucked if I can make head or tail of that.

I think it's the outline of the UK's coastal shelves.

I will hazard a guess that it plots the predictions from November 22, Feb 23 and May 23 vs actual data to May 23. Showing that predictions can often be wrong. It doesn't really make a point either way though as the new May 23 data could equally be wrong.

jesus

that has to be the shittest graph ever posted on here

and theres some serious competion

It would seem its from the bank of England.

Rothchilds summery

Bank of England: not so gloomy anymore

As expected, the Bank of England raised the base rate by 0.25% to 4.5% last week. Money market pricing is suggesting one or two further rate hikes this year.

➡ More remarkable – though less reported – has been the revision to the Bank's quarterly growth and inflation forecasts.
➡ The Bank finally abandoned its pessimistic stance on the UK economy, and now expects output to return to pre-pandemic levels by the end of this year (see chart).
➡ The reasons cited included stronger global growth, lower energy prices, further fiscal support (Spring Budget), and the resilience of the labour market.
➡ The inflation projection was also raised: the headline rate is now expected to fall below 2% at the start of 2025 (it was previously forecasted to return to target by the second quarter of next year).

There'll still be some defending it, whilst claiming a proposition to give MORE people the vote is an attempt to "rig" elections

I was surprised to hear that some folk who have lived in the UK for decades cannot vote in the general election. I honestly thought if you were allowed to live here and followed all the process to remain then you could vote.  Seems not unless you came from a commonwealth country which is a bit of an odd way to do it.

I would assume you would have to be a UK citizen ?.

Gerry Manderring sounds like a 70s era footballer

Probably played for Southampton

Now owns a pub in Eastleigh and is the "club legend" introduced to disappointed fans in the Saints' cheapest hospitality lounge before midweek games. Got nicked for summat unsavory in the New Forest a few years back, but the charges were dropped as the pony refused to give evidence.
