i have no problem with us paying the going rate for good people

its clearlly not working as it is

you may, or may not, like what the likes of anderson has to say

but come on, he's thick as fuck, but clever enough to play to an audience

and hes on 6 figures

get rid of at least half of em, pay em 125k and tell em thats it, thats the lot

no tv, no papers, no secret lobbying

look at sunak, hes a dreadful politician, but its equally clear

1 he doesnt need the job

2 he could earn more elesewhere

3 he's using it as a vehicle to future riches

as for the wider argument of apying the going rate to get good people, ive no issue with that

same as docs, nurses, barristers, consultants, teachers et al

Thing is who is that bloke from Stoke?

We can keep saying pay them more and it'll attract better

Post-Brexit, the Government Front Bench has been an absolute freak-show, for obvious reasons. Hopefully after the next election things will start to settle down to some sort of normality again.

If Rayner showed up looking like she’d just been fucked by a gang of scaffolders, she’d get pelters on here

would i be fucked by a gang of scaffolders? - probably not again I wouldn't have thought.

As for Raynor, absolutely, I reckon she'd be a bit demanding though, and I doubt I'd be up to it

She's not doing much to endear herself to the workers is she! 😁

She surely most know why it is bollocks , can only assume it is a deliberate attempt to undermine Junior Doctors by making people they are basically trainees demanding fully qualified money. Pretty pathetic.

How odd

Quote

The Home Office has made a U-turn on its much-criticised plan to imminently raise the minimum salary requirement for British nationals bringing foreign family members to the UK, saying the threshold will first be raised to £29,000 instead of £38,700.

More Brexit chaos coming in the new year. 👍

I would not be surprised if the Tories keep postponing this implementation until after the next GE and then it’s not their problem anymore.

Don't think they can delay it any longer without incurring WTO penalties.

do you reckon that would bother them at this stage, they'll just blame the EU, and the Gammons will lap it up
