Dominic Grieve.  🤣

I do like this comment on the article.

Well this article is badly timed given inflation is falling through the floor and interest rates will be dropping soon. The US-UK trade deal will be back on as soon at the Yanks kick out Biden in 2024 - PROBLEM SOLVED.

Which part do you disagree with?

I agree with this sentence. Good work Dom.

the UK economy is at least performing as well, if not better, than that of many of our EU neighbours.

But let's say you have an economy that has being doing great for a while but doesn't change

You have a country who's economy has been shit and done nothing for years, but then grows a bit

Who is in the better state?

Another graph, with no comment. If you don't understand then, you only need to ask, rather than wait for a reaction.

We didn't get one last time Trump was in power, so I don't see why we'd suddenly get one of he wins next time round. It'd be nice if we did of course, but I can't see it

Firstly, Italy and Germany? Why should we give a fuck?

Secondly, went down 2008 ish downturn and Covid?

Thirdly , is ours any different? I’d be hugely fucking surprised if it was.

i'll never forget one of the three stooges on here swallowing all that shit

I think at the time I said no advances in modern technology will overcome centuries of bigotry and hatred.

Some on this thread I also mentioned the influence and power held behind the scenes of a handful of multi millionaires. Nadine Dorries has written a book about it.

Let's be honest, anybody who actually believed that there was some technology that could solve the obvious issue is a bit silly, not that they would ever admit to believing it of course..

Looks like MPs are getting a higher than inflation rise

Seriously, would you want the fucking job? You need a hide thicker than Cheese. Constantly dodging flak, can't piss without some cunt passing comment/criticising etc.

I wouldn't want the job.

I used to live in East Yorkshire and the local MP was David Davies

You were lucky if you ever saw him

Probably turned on the Christmas lights though

My local MP puts his speeding fines on expenses

i wouldn't want it

i have no problem with us paying the going rate for good people

its clearlly not working as it is

you may, or may not, like what the likes of anderson has to say

but come on, he's thick as fuck, but clever enough to play to an audience

and hes on 6 figures

get rid of at least half of em, pay em 125k and tell em thats it, thats the lot

no tv, no papers, no secret lobbying

look at sunak, hes a dreadful politician, but its equally clear

1 he doesnt need the job

2 he could earn more elesewhere

3 he's using it as a vehicle to future riches

as for the wider argument of apying the going rate to get good people, ive no issue with that

same as docs, nurses, barristers, consultants, teachers et al
