Aye ... that old video I posted about 4 years ago that you're obsessing about ... Thought you said videos that I always put up? Care to share more? I'd love to see the first one you're in love with x

The first one I’m in love with?

To go back to the initial point. You told Spider to stop complaining, be grateful & crack on with it like the big boys.

As funny as it was seeing you refer to yourself as a big boy, the video was only used to highlight the irony of you telling folk not to complain. When you posted a 6 minute long rant from a neo nazi about foreigners 😄

Tories initially created the problem and didn’t manage it correctly… then Labour compound it… hence my earlier quotes about both parties as bad as each other.

The same people who claim Labour Governments are irresponsible with public money and throw it around like there's no tomorrow just to win votes, now complaining about a Labour Government being fiscally sensible and upsetting voters. It's so disingenuous.

Do you want our government to keep borrowing money when we already have a £20 billion black hole?

I want them to look after our people. We are already one of the shittest pensions in the developed world.

An NHS that is sustainable and can keep its staff, prisons that operate, rivers that aren’t polluted, houses for new home owners. These are the things that are essential for looking after our people and they weren’t there after 14 years.

Sadly that's never going to change, in fact it'll probably get worse, especially as moving forward people will be expected to have their own pensions

I'd much rather we looked after our own, but as has been mentioned a million times, we'd rather give foreign aid to places like India and China (who have their own space agencies) and tip money to countries that are fighting wars they'll never win.

I'm not at the stage where I'd want Lord Gammon himself running the show (Farage), but I can see why so many people are starting to lean that way..... ( @bolty58 must be rubbing off on me)

WASPI women aren't owed anything though are they? They're just upset about their retirement age going up, and claim some of them weren't aware of it through ignorance.

I've looked into it a bit today, and this does seem to be the gist of it, so fuck 'em -   they're certainly not in the same sot of boat as the infected blood people and the Post Office mob, who do deserve to be paid out, and quickly (which the last Government decided to keep kicking down the road)

7 more "Asylum Hotels" to close in the New Year because the Asylum backlog is falling. I'm sure some will find a way to twist this into a bad thing.

No doubt it will be spun as a bad thing by somebody  - I'm sure the people who actually own them are gutted, as that must be a fantastic gravy train to be on, nigh on 100% occupancy at probably close to 100% rack rate

Is that big daft boat/barge thing still being used, it's not been in the news for ages, so I guess it's either not the death trap that some claimed it was, or it's no longer required

But last month Dame Angela Eagle, the border security minister, said more hotels for asylum seekers had opened since Labour came into government.

Dame Angela said there were 220 hotels used for asylum seekers, with seven having shut since July - but 14 more had opened.

So they should carry on where the previous Government left off, and continue opening more, rather than closing them? Long old process fixing 14 years of neglect.

You have tried to make it out as a good thing, in reality they have only closed some of the additional hostels that they have opened. I’m assuming the additional hostels have had to be opened due to the increase in crossings since Labour took over?

Assume away. You are clearly still pining for Braverman and the Rwanda Scheme.

Nope, you obviously didn’t  read the article and jumped at the headline. Easy mistake 👍

So you think it's a bad thing that the Asylum backlog is coming down? And you think this because the new Government didn't immediately close all the hotels in their first 5 months? 👍

Nope, it’s a good thing. Letting more in is not a good thing. You asked “should they carry on the way the previous government left” it seems that’s exactly what they’re doing. 👍

It's quite obvious to most people with half a brain that they couldn't come in and change everything in a few months, and they'd have to deal with the dregs the previous Government left behind - and will have to do so for a while longer yet. But things are heading in the right direction for a change. Commiserations. 👍

Or maybe leave it until they've won, when it will likely cost a heck of a lot more.

They're effectively fighting a proxy war for the west.

I agree about the "proxy war" but I thinks things have moved on.

It's no longer about the Ukrainians simply fighting for their freedom, it appears to me they are being "groomed"into becoming the European Army.

The Ukranian Army has become, in my opinion, the best in the world having up to date battle experience, national mobilisation and motivated & organised troops that beats anything the super-states might have in logistical might.

When the EU finally does establish its own army I can see a newly admitted Ukraine providing it's military backbone especially with their experience of actually fighting in the Eastern Europe theatre.

For this reason I fully understand why the EU will want to continue supplying the Ukrainians as they will in effect, become the EU's Army State, but as outsiders should the UK also be committing funds and weapons to this project?

The UK really need to decide which Bloc they want to belong to... the EU or the US? The world is fragmenting into a limited number of Super-States and we need to decide where we're going to belong before its too late.

Of course it will take time, which is why it’s kind of weird you posting a link showing Labour are closing hostels that they’ve opened as a positive. The reality is they had to open more because more are getting in. You’re probably best off taking some of your own advice and giving them time before posting silly links. 👍

Must be very frustrating, and quite humuliating for you after defending the inept, corrupt cunts for 14 years.
