Must be very frustrating, and quite humuliating for you after defending the inept, corrupt cunts for 14 years.

Not sure where the defence is in any of my posts. Mind you considering the link you posted it’s obvious you read one thing and interpret it as another 👍

You admitted it was a good thing that the Asylum backlog is coming down. Enjoy. 👍

Yep, it’s excellent, how you have interpreted that into a defence of the conservatives god alone knows.

However boasting about sending people back whilst letting more in kind of defeats the object. 👍

They're effectively fighting a proxy war for the west.

I agree about the "proxy war" but I thinks things have moved on.

It's no longer about the Ukrainians simply fighting for their freedom, it appears to me they are being "groomed"into becoming the European Army.

The Ukranian Army has become, in my opinion, the best in the world having up to date battle experience, national mobilisation and motivated & organised troops that beats anything the super-states might have in logistical might.

When the EU finally does establish its own army I can see a newly admitted Ukraine providing it's military backbone especially with their experience of actually fighting in the Eastern Europe theatre.

For this reason I fully understand why the EU will want to continue supplying the Ukrainians as they will in effect, become the EU's Army State, but as outsiders should the UK also be committing funds and weapons to this project?

The UK really need to decide which Bloc they want to belong to... the EU or the US? The world is fragmenting into a limited number of Super-States and we need to decide where we're going to belong before its too late.

I love spending time the the US on holiday but there is no way on earth I would want to emulate them.

Absolutely everything is about money over there. Green is even bigger than God and many of them are a weird bunch when it comes to religion.

I have just come back from a fortnight in Orlando, spoke to a fair few Americans who were amazed we had a 2 week holiday, one fella got 8 days a year. Fuck that.

We are much more aligned with most of Europe than America thank fuck.

They also have "at-will" employment, which literally means an employer can sack an employee without needing or having to provide a reason

Yes. Insofar as it’s never going to happen. 🙂

The world is breaking into mega social-industrial-military blocs and we need to decide which one we will be part of

US, Europe, China, Indo-Asia, maybe Arabia... don't know where South America will land or Australasia.

We will fight most of our our wars, probably remotely, using drones in Africa... Zico will be quoting the odds.

The first one I’m in love with?

To go back to the initial point. You told Spider to stop complaining, be grateful & crack on with it like the big boys.

As funny as it was seeing you refer to yourself as a big boy, the video was only used to highlight the irony of you telling folk not to complain. When you posted a 6 minute long rant from a neo nazi about foreigners 😄

So that's a no then.

Making things up and lying again. Same old story.

You just admitted you posted the video 😂which shows I wasn't making it up.

but now I'm making things up again....make you're mind up lad, which one is it?

and you're off point scoring in a thread about Ian Evatt, where nobody is interested in talking politics. 😂 Getting desperate mate ❤️

Fair enough. Let's see where he is by the next election.

He's slowly sorting the mess out and therefore (inevitably) alienating some people.

The alternative is to carry on kicking cans down the road and trying to buy votes.

Like Bolty always says - people vote primarily with their hip pockets. If things are looking more favourable by the time of the next election - then these early figures will be irrelevant. If things aren't looking more favourable - then they won't.

A slight liberty being taken there young man. "Americans vote using their hip pocket nerve".

As you are a Labour supporter, I would advise against any fanciful thoughts of this lot producing a sound financial result. Experience has taught  us that the opposite should be expected.

I'm not at the stage where I'd want Lord Gammon himself running the show (Farage), but I can see why so many people are starting to lean that way..... ( @bolty58 must be rubbing off on me)

What the fuck is wrong with WWays today? All sounding very homoerotic :bad:

Just being fucking silly now (or indulging in a little self arousal).

It would be blackjack and Monteiths.

Before you ask, blackjack is a thick tar like lubricant for open gearing.

"blackjack" - I'm surprised they've not been made to change the name yet. 😊

One thing that may be defining in the short term is that we're supplying Turkey with Typhoon's, weapons systems and helping them develop their own Tai FX jets. Most of it manufactured in this here North West.

They're using them to bomb the shit out of "the Kurds", whilst the USA are arming said Kurds in their pursuit of capturing Syria to keep the Russians at bay.

Where on earth are we supposed to sit there? Inevitably USA will tell his to stop supplying Turkey, which will leave a few Billion sized holes in our economy

Sadly that is EXACTLY where we've positioned ourselves.

Meandering with little sense of purpose.

I've said it before and I'll say it again. This country needs a vision around which the vast majority of people can rally behind. But that's very difficult in a society that's as fractured as ours.

What are we going to be as a nation in post colonial, post EU times?

We can't afford to continue to operate at the margins if we want to continue to be a world player.
