So, waspi women to get no compensation.

Lots up in arms about it, and I can understand that.

On the other hand, a part of me reckons its the correct decision.

Not for me it isn’t…. What a shitshow of a country we live in.

It is the right decision. We don't have an endless supply of money and certainly not the £11B this would cost us, unluckily for them.

Move on.

As the minister says, the letters were sent out in reasonable time.

From the images of protestors, it seems it applies to blokes as well.

It's upset a number of mps from all sides though, and is another bullet to fire at them.

So the Labour Party isn’t going to “right the historic wrongs “ after all.
Surely they didn’t lie to the electorate? That’s a dirty Tory trick, isn’t it?

“Angry” 😂😂

Don’t get too excited now.

I’m not denying I’m a big massive snowflake babes. Just laughing at you pretending to be one of the “big boys” who never gets upset about anything. Yet you post videos about the British race being under threat.

Aye ...I post loads of videos don't I 🙄

You dont half twist yourself up. Helps if you stop lying and making things up 👍🏻

Starmer must be used to getting all this flack. Apparently he's got the worst rating, after 5 months, of any PM ever.

They'll get called out on it, and quite rightly. It just confirms that they're all shitbags

Try telling my missus that... when she started paying into the system at 16 she was promised retirement at 60... we are 6 years apart and as she says, we should be enjoying retirement together... I think she would reluctantly accept 65 but the extra two years is taking the piss.

This is National INSURANCE and as such should be honoured

It goes to prove no party has any moral compass… the Labour Party should do what’s right and proper…instead theyve shit on the people they’re supposed to represent. Horrible decision and all wrong.

I recall all the support Starmer and Co were giving Waspis when in opposition applauding the Public Gallery in the Commons etc. and now they have chosen to ignore the Parliamentary Ombudsman... another attack on pensioners who are the ones who vote... how thick can they be?

I don't doubt some will be annoyed. I can't believe it's apparently taken them 6 years to come to this decision.

I agree that stuff should be honoured, but we're fucked as a country, and you can't expect anything anymore. That's just how it is now.

You're not wrong, Labour are proving to be as unpleasant as their predecessors, at the minute

Maybe charity should start at home and not sending stand-off bombs to Eastern European civil wars?

As you say we really are not a world power anymore...

Don't get what all the fuss is about.

They're only fucking Wasps. Not like they're Bumble Bees ffs.

They have votes and USE them... they do not strike or drive tractors around Whitehall.

Second hit on Pensioners... easy target

I agree fully, we don't have enough money for our own people, but we've plenty to send to other nations to help fund a war they have zero chance of winning

Or maybe leave it until they've won, when it will likely cost a heck of a lot more.

They're effectively fighting a proxy war for the west.

Blokes were also told of an increase of retirement age.

Everyone pays in, but it has simply become insufficient to maintain services to an adequate level.

Something had to give, and if everyone is living longer, then either payments into the system have to go up, or the length of service.

The crux of the argument is that they felt they weren't given enough notice, a point today's decision disagrees with.

I will be honest, I don't actually understand what this is all about? Did the government of the time not make it clear enough that the retirement age would be increasing or something?

As above, yes.

No doubt some additional minutiae, but they were informed. Would need to really delve into the legalese, but can't be arsed.

The only thing I can think of is that they feel there is insufficient time left to make alternative/additional payments.

Well sorry but I have little sympathy, we were all told pension ages would have to rise. Blaming this on the current government is also a bit rich given how long its been rumbling on for.

I will be lucky to get a pension the way things are going and my kids have fuck all chance.

I agree, but the Tory Party will be all over it at next PMQs I'm sure

Course the blame’s on Labour they’ve made the call to pay nothing.

😄

So you didn’t post a video from a neo-nazi lad where he spoke about a foreign invasion & the erosion of the British race?

Must have plucked it from thin air 😂
